This was a slow start but strong finish. It had the perfect amount of thrill and spice and always left me wanting more. The whole time I was left guessing on who the stalkers were when I had an idea of who they were, I was wrong. The tension between the characters draws you in from the start. Come the end you get a better understanding of why the characters are the way they are and you only want more. Audible paired well with the book!

I could not finish the book. The words “little darling” were said way too much. The female voice was hard to listen to. There were not enough descriptors.

Review:
Wow what a wild ride, this audiobook was very good. The narrators were amazing and this was a new to me author, i will definitely be listening to her again. Now i will say you really have to be pay attention to this one, i listen to these books and a couple of time i had to go back and relisten just to make sure i understand correctly. I have 2 kids, always saying mom lol. I’m not going to say too much because i don’t want to spoil anything but this story is about a FBI agent, the FMC (Alex). And she on the hunt to find the killer. There is a tragic past the comes to life. This story definitely had me hooked and I would highly recommend this story.

Definitely mixed feelings about this one. I’m glad I listened to it and it wasn’t a waste of a credit.

Pros:
- I enjoyed the story, the suspense, the stalking, etc.
- the spicy scenes were excellent and often. 🔥 🔥 🔥
- the killers/stalkers were well written.
- there were some touching moments between the MMC’s and the FMC.
- the MMC’s had a good balance of being dominant, scary, possessive and thoughtful.

Cons:
- too many descriptive shower scenes that the FMC took. We get it, the author is big on hygiene and cleanliness but the scenes felt copy and pasted throughout the book.
- the FMC did t have a lot of common sense and went along with whatever the serial killers asked. It would have been nice for her to have more defiance and not go along with everything.
- the female narrator and partly the way it was written was very awkward and robotic. It was distracting.
- there were only a couple chapters from the MMC’s point of view. I would have liked more.
- it felt like the author was overdoing the criminal minds and CSI lingo.

I wish there had been a better editor to catch some of this, that there was a different female narrator and it was duet narration. Still I enjoyed it and have re-listened to certain parts as they were well done.

I’m honestly sad it’s over. The spice was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. The spice wasn’t what captivated me. It was hot and so dirty, but the entire story kept me guessing. I cannot wait for more of the delicious depravity!
