Great story
I love reading or listening to a book and being surprised. This one did that. I enjoy the main characters, and plot twists. glad I stumbled onto this series. I'll start the next one tomorrow probably.

Austin is so macho.
The characters have brought me in and I’m submerged. I want to know so badly what happened to the wife and what was she in too. I really wish he would at least make the reporter a side piece. He needs it.

Good Book
Good story and enough twists to keep us interested. I really like how the author doesn’t need sex or bad language. Just a good, enjoyable book to listen to. Good narration as well.

Book 2 done- ready NOW for book 3!
Again- Washington settings that are all familiar to me. The Hansville connections. The Kitsap county sheriffs. This story has you being happy that the killer was caught. And then you still have 2 hours left because that’s not the end of the story! Awesome job! It’s flows well and easy listen! Great story line and the little continuous back story that is looking to grow even bigger! I recommend THIS SERIES to any crime junkie!

Interesting Plot
I liked the plot of this book. The characters were interesting and the plot had a nice dramatic arc to it. The narrator had a nice voice. He struggles with adding drama and he doesn't do different voices well so sometimes I struggled with discerning what character was actually speaking.
