I love these books.. I was so excited to see the audible book available.. I’ve read them all an I kniw I just needed to listen to this story bc I loved it so much. Get story and marvelous job on the performance ❤️

Loved the narrator. But where is the rest of the book. I love this series.

Stick With It

I didn’t love the beginning but I am so glad I kept reading. The entire book is a slow burn and I LOVED it.

a painfully slow burn…

excellent read and great narration. Plot is understandable and characters likable. Tension is HIGH — a very slow burn but worth it. Excellent smut content - 2 big scenes, 4 smaller ones. Will be starting the next one in the series!

Loved

Wonderful start to what is sure to be an exciting series!! I have fallen in love with Tristan and Morana! They are amazingly strong and yet relatable characters. This book had some steamy moments and yet still managed to have a slow burn feel. I cannot wait to see these two burn hotter!! Audiobook was great!

A Decent Read

I was expecting a bit more from this, but it was definitely worth a credit and I will
be getting the next books as well. The book is narrated as a 3rd person perspective by one girl (voicing both female and male characters) which didn’t bother me at all. I typically avoid non duet pov audiobooks like the plague because Haunting Adeline’s narrators spoiled me, but the female voice actor was able to perfectly voice both parts. Story is decent.

Dark Romance

The mystery, the tension, and the angst all have me in a chokehold! Tristan and Morana’s chemistry is too good to deny. I love the suspense of this story and how each chapter builds to something bigger. This book has all of my favorite tropes! Enemies to lovers, “touch her you die”, mafia, etc

Slow burn. Witty Banter.

****Narration**** Not a huge fan of their voices, maybe it will take a few chapter to get used to listening to their voices. Also not a fan of the narrators talking about their character in third person. I wish that they would talk in first person.

update: Took me until Chapter 6 to get used to the third person narration and the narrators voices.

****Story**** (update from chapter 6) The story is enjoyable, it has a great story plot and the tension is soooo nice haha I love the banter that they have between each other. she knows how to push his buttons and he just knows how to get her interest.

One negative review that I read a lot was that "they just kept staring at each other", not sure if its because I am terrible at eye contact but I loved the ominous stare. The title made so much sense with just these act alone, I could see the predator side of him and I loved it.

The author repeats a lot of phrases and it kills the vibe of the story. example "she has changed", "she is unable to describe it, so she wont", etc. if you can't explain it... don't and don't write it in the story because its pointless.

Amazing performance

Loved everything and was enamoured with the way the story took a different vibe by being told in this audio
