I recommend reading to book, not the audio book.

The female narrator nearly ruins this book. I read it first and then wanted to listen to the audiobook. Doesn’t seem to know how to read punctuation and the emphasis of her words was not natural at all and made no sense. I couldn’t make it through. The book is great and deserves a chance of reading yourself if you can’t make it through the audio version.

It’s okay…

I appreciate the vision the author was going for, I enjoyed the idea of a secret society that orchestrates these positions of power and the lives of those who enter it. The spicy scenes were great and definitely were what kept me enthralled despite the flat narration. I wanted to enjoy this more but between the robotic narrator (I thought it was a computer generated female voice) and 1 dimensional Blakely, I can’t say I would recommend this particular book.

needed more plot

it has an ok plot but its more sex than plot. in a chapter you get 3/4sex and the rest plot line. i love a good erotic book but not in an unrealistic form. its more lets have sex then dig a hole hey let's have more sex. main characters dont have a lot of dialogue all sex.

Couldn’t stop thinking “this is some rich people sh&$”

It’s interesting enough that I finished, and the spicy scenes are spicy. I liked the secret society instead of Mafia plot line. But throughout it just felt like there was so much missing. I think this may just be for an audience who isn’t me. Don’t get me wrong I love dark romance, but this fell flat for me.

Read if you’re here for the smut and not the storyline

This book is definitely smutty/spicy, be sure to check tw before listening or reading. Book has a lot of plot holes and I feel like the characters lack depth. If you’re just hear for smut this book is for you, if you like a in-depth plot line with character development I’m not sure if you’ll enjoy this one. It did remind me a lot of Haunting Adeline, so if you enjoyed that book you’ll enjoy this one!

could have been better

I liked the book, the plot was interesting but it got boring pretty quickly. the female narrator was great, but the male narrator seemed kind of lack luster and emotionless. 3/5 stars overall.

Great book. Terrible narration

The female narrator is nerve wracking. Literally nails on a chalkboard. It’s like she reads it with no punctuation, the last word of every sentence is drug out and breathy. I stopped listening and just found the book on kindle. Don’t waste your money on this download

Love this book

Absolutely loved the story and loved the female voice but I could not stand the male voice it was terrible and I almost dnf’d because of it buuuuut I stuck it out and fell in love with the book halfway though (male voice was terrible the whole time)
