This was an enjoyable dark, but not too dark, romance. It had an enjoyable plot and a good pace; until the last three chapters. The end of the book seemed like the author reached her word count, so she just ended the book. It needed an epilogue, at least.

Even though the ending was disappointing, I still felt like this duet was worth a credit. However, if both books had not been combined into a single purchase, it would not have been a two credit listen.

I’m very curious about the Hero’s sister’s story. I hope a book is planned that will tell her tale!

A new author for me!

My listening lists have gotten a little stale, but I’m so happy to have found Anna Zaires. This story kept my attention, characters were pretty well developed, and unsurprisingly, the narration was great. Two books for the price of one credit is definitely worth it!

incredible captivating dark thrilling , the story was amazing kept me on the edge and the narration brought the story even more to life.. 20/10

WOW!!!

First off, let me start by saying at how the narrators bring this story to life if phenomenal!!!! The author did an amazing job bringing us into a world we can imagine and love/hate at the same time. My only issue is, I Want A 3rd Book!!! lol.
This is definitely worth the credit!!

Not bad

I can’t say I loved it. It was an interesting story to listen to while I put together an exceptionally frustrating puzzle. It kept my mind occupied, was well written, and had decent narration. I liked the suspense and action scenes. But overall I think it will be fairly forgettable and will probably be an audiobook I won’t revisit.

Twister plot from child teacher to marrying the monster to his sister being in danger

I enjoyed this book immensely. The love and gentleness that Chloe gives to her captor soothes his fierce tiger inside.

Good listen

I liked that the heroine wasn't completely weak, and the storyline was a good. It had some twist and turns. I do believe they fell in love too quick, and there were some moments where it was very sappy. But overall a good read..

Plenty of Intrigue

Although many of the other reviews are mixed, I liked both books. Both had equal amounts of suspense, the story captivated me. Narration was pretty perfect. I do however wish the end of book two didn't leave me feeling like it was unfinished and should be more like what happened with Elaina, Since that portion was not as wrapped up as the rest I can only assume there will be another book tied to this series conclusion.
