Publisher's summary

"The sexy, action-packed first dramatized audiobook adaptation in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from Sarah J. Maas. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time.

As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.

From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking series that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable listen.

Performed by Melody Muze, Henry W. Kramer, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Debi Tinsley, Bradley Foster Smith, Alejandro Ruiz, Christopher Graybill, Julie Hoverson, Karenna Foley, Eric Messner, Anthony Palmini, Steve Wannall, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Mort Shelby, Laura C. Harris, Michael John Casey, Scott McCormick, Richard Rohan, Karen Novack, Nora Achrati, and Nanette Savard."

Great idea, needs better execution

1. It's only the first half of the book, but isn't organized by chapter. It's hard to find your place if you're reading a physical copy at the same time. 2. The acting is excellent, but they do skip entire sentences or even paragraphs sometimes! 3. I would recommend this anyone, it's wonderful!

Content Missing

You will miss out on vital context cues and descriptions if you listen to this dramatized version only OR before the original audiobook. Overall I liked the experience and recommend but only after reading/listening to the original. It’s probably similar to watching the movie before reading the book but not as bad. Still your gonna miss out on more then you should. A few things in the original like “I couldn’t help but laugh” wasn’t said and instead was just Feyra laughing which I get but you loose that distinction of her not being able to hold back the laugh and instead just hear the laugh. It’s little things like that, that impact the entire story trust me. Also conversations that are described as hard to hear in the original but are then written out for us to read are just hard to hear whispers in this story and although that’s more realistic, I still want to hear what’s being said. Anyway I liked it a lot, but read original first, please!

More please!

Can’t wait for the others! Please release soon😅 I just found this series and listened to the original audible. I enjoyed them but I love this version. It’s nice to have different voices for each character!

Love this!

I really enjoy this! The voice actors are excellent, and the dramatization makes listening to this book fun. I normally prefer to read books, but I enjoyed this enough that I pre-ordered part 2. Definitely like this voice actress better than the original audiobook.

A New Kind of Reading Experience

There is nothing that brings stories to life so well as full cast performances. It's one thing to read and assign voices and sounds in your head, and another entirely to enjoy a production such as this. Love the story and the performance by the cast!

Didn't enjoy Fayra's narration

I was really looking forward to this, I had read the series and listened to the audiobooks, but this full cast version fell short. I thoroughly enjoy full cast audiobooks, but I was not a fan of Fayra's narration, the cadence was off.

Love it!!

I already read the entire ACOTAR series and convinced my husband to listen to the graphic audiobooks with me. We’ve really been enjoying it. Some of the sound effects are a bit corny and I wish the voice actor that did Lucian’s voice was casted for Rhysand but other than that, its been great! It’s fun to experience the books in a new way.
