i can't believe how involved i got in this story
super YA and overblown/overdone but i loved it anyhow. I think the narrator helps a TON and keeps the story moving along.

Phenomenal
I have an addiction to this series. Some people think Mafi overused adjectives but I think it’s wonderful. This series is one that I get lost in. I forget I’m at work or lying in my bed or walking through Walmart. I’m in love with the characters. I’m in love with the storyline. I’m in love with Simses’ portrayal of the characters. Breathtakingly phenomenal book.

Unravel Me!!!
This audiobook is somehow better than Shatter Me, and I really loved Shatter Me. I usually expect middle books in a series to be as good as the first books, but this one is really and truly better. There is still the lovely writing from before but since Juliette seems to be in a much better place mentally, there are fewer of the scratchy sound effects (and fewer strikethroughs in the print editions). The story sort of moves along on two fronts: there is the impending war between The Reestablishment and Omega Point and there is the Juliette/Adam and Juliette/Warner love triangle. The love triangle is gooood. The secondary characters are great too.
I've listened to this Unravel Me multiple times and I love it more with every listen. The narrator is just fantastic and even does the male voices quite well. Totally worth the credit that I spent on it.

Great follow up
I really like that we got to see more side of Adam and Warner in this, beyond the black and white of Shatter Me. Juliette is kind of helpless and poor me, but she does improve and start to help others. I liked seeing more of her and other character's powers and more of Kanji also. He's a fun character that helps lighten up Juliette's dark storytelling.
