Great story

Great story! Very clean ( wish it wasn’t) I had my suspicions but truly great plot twists!

Excellent read

The storyline was great, the main character was great and the narrator was even better! The narrator can definitely make or break an audio book. And this one far exceeded any expectations! She was able to do many different voices without it seeming forced or unnatural. Can’t wait for the next book!

You won’t regret reading this series

I loved it the whole way through and it kept me guessing (as someone who doesn’t like predictable books)
The characters are relatable, smart, funny, cunning. It’s just an all around great read.

Twists that make sense, but aren't predictable

Lots of twists, but each one makes sense within the story. The author took a lot of risks with the narrative but they all paid off well. There wasn't a single plot surprise that came out of nowhere without any build-up, and while some of them could be guessed, they weren't formulaic or predictable.

A great story and narrator.

The plot is interesting and engaged you from the first few pages. Try it.you will enjoy it.

Interesting read

This was an interesting read. The main character was a tad whiny and some of the supporting characters traits weren't realistic. However, the ending was very interesting and am now curious about the second book.

A unique, good read hopefully

The performance was well done. The storyline was refreshing and unique and focused on the plot in the motions instead of too much sex or crude language. However, I am curious to see where the storyline goes. It is not a new plot line and as soon as elemental magicBecame involved, there was some predictable points. Overall a good read

Didn’t expect that one

I was surprised to find this YA book keeps you listening cause you want to know what is going to happen. You hold your breath to see if she will survive and how much pain she has to go through to do that. I admit the ending shocked even me cause I never saw that coming. Very much recommend even though it is a YA book to anyone of any age.
