Read, Don't Listen

I almost gave up on listening because of all the whispering! Great Story Though!

This to me was ok… was bored in the middle… but was still a descent read

Narrators were … interesting

A good story, but the male narrator’s voice was so low it was hard to understand a lot of the things he said. Female narrators performance was like listening to someone whispering through a college lecture. It was like she was afraid to read out loud. Why the whispering?

Love the story but…

Read the book last year, loved it. Decided to do a re-read on here and I am just super disappointed in the narration. The character’s are supposed to be 22-27 and the narrators voice’s sounded way too mature/old for them. I wanted to love this, but the narration killed it for me. :(

What’s with the whispering?

I like the story, but I can’t help but be annoyed by the whispering narrator.

Loved this book

The female narrator definitely could’ve done without the weird male voice. It made me roll my eyes every time an Ava chapter came up. The book was fantastic. Moderately spicy.

Love Ava & Aiden's story

I really wish they would have chosen a different female narrator. Cindy Kay is whispering throughout the entire book and it sounds ridiculous and irritating! I loved the book but the audio sucked. Aiden Snow did a great job though. He has the best voice.

Love the book, not a fan of female narration

I've read this book before and I really enjoyed it. I was looking forward to the audio experience.

Aiden Snow is wonderful, I love his narration. Cindy Kay I did not enjoy. She whispers talks almost every line. I really didn't want to listen to her chapters.

First Audiobook Experience for me

A lot of people loved this book based on Bookstagram so I downloaded Audible to listen to it during my Japan trip. Experience-wise, I loved it. Story-wise though, it’s okay. I can see why people find Alex too controlling but I guess Ava likes it so you do you. But not my cup of tea of a male main character. The spicy scenes though, definitely my cup of tea.

The female narrator is awful!!!

Why does she whisper EVERYTHING?!?! And her male voice is horrific. It’s like she had to keep it down to finish because someone was sleeping in the next room. I won’t listen to anything she does again.
