Publisher's summary

The Taori warrior is mad with mating fever—and he’s decided I’m his.

I almost escaped from the alien’s twisted hunting moon. Until the Taori warrior snatched me away, convinced that he was saving me from a menacing swarm that only appears in his dark and tortured memories. Now I’m stuck with him on the deadly moon that’s crawling with mercenaries who have one goal—to kill us.

If I want to stay alive, I need to stay in the Taori’s underground lair, which wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn’t burning with mating fever and eyeing me like I’m a tasty snack. The longer he fights it, the more manic he’ll get until he might be as dangerous to me as the hunters prowling the surface.

Do I give in to the battle-scarred alien’s dominant and possessive desires, or do I take my chances with the alien hunters who wish to hunt me for sport?

Stalk is a full-length sci-fi romance novel with an HEA and no cheating. It features steamy scenes on an alien, hunting moon, deadly battles, and some serious alien mating fever.

If you like dominant and dangerous alien warriors, alien abduction to seduction romance, and hot scenes with a happily ever after, you’ll love Stalk, the second book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance series The Sky Clan of the Taori.

So exciting

This one had lots of action. There is nothing like a Ta'ori under the influence of the mating fever. Great story with new friends and a reunion. The world building is awesome, and the hunt is on for the rest of the Ta'ori crew sucked through the worm hole. I'm loving this series.

fantastic story - audiobook convert

This is the second book in the Sky Clan of the Taori series. The story is about Daiken, an honorable Taori who is mad with extreme mating fever; and Valeria, a human who is stranded on a hunting moon looking for the rest of her crew. I don't usually do audiobooks but this had me in suspense and bated breath. The narrators did a fantastic job in bringing the drama, romance, lust and the rich detail of this new world to life. I now have to go back and listen to the previous audiobook since that one was my favorite. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Pretty Good

The storyline was filled with lots of action, twists and turns. Characters were likable and interesting. Narrators did a great job with characters. Marcio has such a soft but oh so masculine voice that made the intimate parts of book panty-melting. Hope the next book in series is released soon!

Suspenseful, steamy and captivating alien romance

I really enjoyed Daiken and Val’s alien-human with a side of kidnapping and being hunted for sport romantic suspense tale. The story was well written and included good world building, witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline. Val is a human woman who works as a scientist for the Empire. Her transport ship is attacked and all the females are taken by slavers and brought to the entertainment moons around the planet Xulan. Daiken is a Taori warrior whose spaceship goes through a temporal wormhole and ends up in Xulan airspace where they are promptly attacked. His escape pod ends up on the same entertainment moon as Val. Daiken was sedated on his ship because he was in the grip of mating fever. When he awakes on the strange planet he saves Val but then leaves her to protect her only to snatch her again while hallucinating before she escapes the planet with other survivors. Thus begins Val and Daiken’s exciting, intense, and surprising journey to their HEA. Despite Daiken kidnapping Val this was not a Stockholm syndrome romance. Their relationship developed without forced intimacy. The story includes all the goodness that you’d expect from this genre - fighting, dangerous situations, alien physiology and cultures, evil actors, loyal friends, tragic back stories, mystical coincidences, snark, mystery, and laughs. I love a book with a sexy alpha hero but I especially love one that includes a sexy, smart heroine as well rather than a damsel in distress. I will definitely be reading more of this series. 4.5 stars.

This is a duet narration which is my favorite kind. Marcio Catalano and Aubrey Vincent did a wonderful job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. I really love the added dimension listening brings to a story.

Interesting

Very active plot, plenty of action and violence balanced well with some humor and steam. The characters are fun, intense and easy to enjoy. The narrators have preformed very well with this book and each of these characters. I definitely recommend this book.

I love everything by this author

No matter how short or long her books are, I always have a good time trapezing through her worlds and this one is no different. Great characters, memorable creatures and fun adventures on top of a fun HFN.

FL has a Fargo accent...

I really hated the exaggerated Fargo-esque Midwest accent that the female narrator gave the FL. It was especially grating when the narrator read the few words of Spanish that were sprinkled in.
otherwise, I really enjoyed the story and narration. the duet style narration is my favorite and Tana Stone's stories are always fun.

Wow!

I haven't done a lot of audio books but this one may make me listen more! The story and characters are outstanding..like any Tana Stone book..but the narration done by Marcio Catalano and Aubrey Vincent brought it to life! It was great listening as I got my work done..tho to be honest I would lose myself in the story and forget what I was supposed to be doing. So good!
