Well written story can’t wait for book 2!

This story was very original. I liked the setting and the different angle on dying and going to another world. The characters were great! Really well done.
The narration was absolutely amazing. Jessica and Christopher did a fantastic job.
If you like LitRPG, and harem spend the credit.

It was a little more erotic than I expected, but that added some excitement in my eyes

Another great author appears in the genre

The book is certainly worth it. Cade is like-able and takes his life into his own hands. He grows pretty quickly and gets fairly challenged. The harem bits are well done and properly sauced.
My only gripe is the villain is a bit overdone. But the book is worth a listen.

fun story

really liked the story. cool class and levelling system. The sex scenes could be better and do not fit naturally in the flow of the story imho.
It doesnt pull down the story too much, though.

Enjoyed this after having read it already.

Second time through a book you sometimes get a better appreciation for aspects of it that you missed the first time. I would say that is especially true when the second time through is a different mode.

This author presents the struggles of a military man. The MC is one who is both prepared and accustomed to violence and war but at the same time has no love for it and would prefer a life of peace. I remember reading somewhere that no one prays for peace as fervently as warriors. I think that is true of the MC, yet what I love about him is that he isn't willing to step up when he needs to.

He takes a stand for what is write and it shows in how he is written. If the author is half the man the Cade is then, I only wish I could buy him a beer.

Of course life isn't all easy for Cade. The enemy he is faced with is overwhelming. He could easily give up but doesn't. He struggles on and finds a way through. He gets a unique and powerful class but it doesn't put him onto the path to easy mode. Quite to the contrary he often learns from his companions how much he has to learn about the new world he is in.

On the other hand life, isn't all bad for him. The cover alone shows you some of the perks of the new life that he finds himself in.

In short, this is a fun, fast paced story, that doesn't preach at you but still has characters who have a backbone for doing right.

Been down range and I’m from Long Beach so the first few chapters really hit me hard. Towards the end what I found that I was enjoying the most was the MCs real appreciation for his new life and the changes that it’s went through. Hell of a good time.

good start to a series

I thought the entertainment value was great. narrators were great. i did listen to the author at the end of the book and I was pleased he cleared up his army days. I will leave my opinions unsaid since the author is a veteran.
I very much enjoyed the characters and beasts of this world but there is alot of divine intervention. A world created by gods and then being abused by one God that works against the mc. I am hoping that in book 2 we will at least know why one god has taken over this world and wants to destroy it.

Great start to a new action adventure series.

The story keeps up a fast pace and the author develops the people and places to the point to where you feel you are in the story. Ready for the next episode!

5 Stars. A must read.
