Wow

Started reading to better understand a child in my life and awakened to see that there is also a closely related adult in my life with the same issue! This feels like the beginning of an important journey that must begin.

So good

I’m 40 and in the process of being diagnosed with adhd and this book is amazingly helpful. I don’t want to change who I am but I do want to have better control over the things that are adhd related that make my life so much more difficult than I feel like it needs to be. This book is full of helpful ideas and suggestions which I love and plan on implementing in my life. The fact that Dr. Hamdani also has adhd is really helpful because she knows what it’s like dealing with it and I think that gives her a unique perspective and understanding.

so useful and practical

I loved how the book was written to cater for people with a short attention span like us. The content is divided into small articles, simple language is used and the ideas mentioned are so practical amd easy to implement...

Solid book, may need the written one too

My go to book, which I refer to as my manual, is “ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize You Life”. This is a book you need physical, audio, and digital so you can remind yourself about yourself, partner’s, or child’s needs at that time. This is like an add-on for the person suffering from ADHD. It’s a multi listen I will primarily help the older adults but some teens might find it useful too.

Nothing in the book can’t be found else where but as the author pointed out, it is the book she wished she had when she started her journey. I think it can be useful as some concepts would not be presented if you never had a support team before in school or tutoring or never worked ADHD specialists. Even if you aren’t ADHD diagnosed, suggestions in this book are valuable.

The author reads this books which is fine. A book like this does not help nor detract from her reading it which is good.

Overall a good use of a credit

Life changing for me

Great book with a lot of great tips on how to get through the day with ADHD. I was able to immediately improve and be more aware of how may brain works and a lot of “aha” moments realising that others might also have exactly the same brain clutter as me 😂

Must read to a) Manage ADHD and b) UNDERSTAND it!

Felt so good to be validated . Not feel so alone in this. Also, Great read for people who have someone in their lives who has ADHD so there is additional understanding, empathy, and helpfulness for that person.

It would go a LONG way!
