The dark side of our personality - the “other,” the shadow side - is made up of what we think is our primitive, primal, negative impulses - our “existential kink.” Our existential kink also drives the dark or negative repeating patterns in our life: always choosing the abusive partner or boss, settling for less, thinking that we’re undeserving, not worthy. But it also is the source of our greatest power.

Another great book by Black Girl Bliss!!
I wish I had this when I was in my young 20's starting out. It would've helped to guide me through the limited beliefs from generations past that have plagued many of us Black Women growing up back then. I really appreciate this book. I've listened over Audible twice now and currently on my third as I'm awaiting the arrival of my paperback to mark up with notes. Really great book! Keep them coming!

Amazing!!
This book was a breath of fresh air. She touched on everything we feel and go through as black women. I replayed it so many times and have recommended it to so many women. I will be gifting this book also. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!❤️❤️❤️

Excellent Book
This was an excellent book! We often need reminders that I will being in self-care are important. The book not only reinforces that, but gives very good examples of ways to care for yourself. I have also downloaded the other two books and look forward to listening/reading them as well.
