Good clean story

A very enjoyable book with just a bit of angst but not so much that it became frustrating. A great story with engaging characters.

Sweet story

Noah Wall is a great narrator with a lovely voice. The story was enchanting with a friends to lovers clean story.

A new favorite

You know when you finish listening to a book, and you want listen again right after you finish, that it’s a good book. I loved all of the characters and how much chemistry and connection they had. I was hooked. The narrator did a wonderful job! Sometimes narration can ruin a book, but this one was perfect.

Excellent

I was torn with this book at first because I felt that the heroine was a bit selfish and immature but then it occurred to me that the author did a phenomenal job writing from the perspective of a late teen early twenty-something. Rebecca is refreshingly honest in her thoughts but dishonest in her actions and it showed complexity in the character. She became real and likeable to me. The hero, Nicholas is amazing - warm, kind, guarded and logical. I loved this book and the narration was superb.

Absolutely Love this book

I was somewhat hesitant to get this audiobook because of a few reviews but I'm so glad I took the chance it's so lovely . I love that her family is understanding and not snooty like so many of the era.This is a well written story that made me feel all the emotions.

Really Enjoyed

I enjoyed the story and characters. I found myself getting annoyed at times and wanting to reach out and grab the main character which told me I really liked the book lol. A clean read that took me on a ride full of emotion. ❤️

Absolutely Worth the Credit

I loved this book. I loved the story and the narrator. It left me satisfied and completely happy.

There is also a heart-squeezing, swoon-worthy romantic scene (with just the right amount of heat) that will go down as one of my favorite moments from a regency romance.

Absolutely Delightful

What an absolutely charming book this was! These characters came to life in ways that were truly unique and set them apart in my memory. I absolutely was charmed by Nicholas from the very beginning and Rebecca, for all of her spunk and sometimes thoughtless actions, Wasn’t thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining heroine of the story. The narration was incredibly well done and I will surely be looking out for any books by Ms. Barker in the future!

Excellent Narration

Beautiful love story with delightful characters. Tensions between Rebecca and her family, Rebecca and her suitors. Interesting twists and turns make this story easily flow. I listened to this book because of the narrator. Sadly, "Otherwise Engaged" is the only bookwritten by this author

Enjoyed

I really enjoyed this book. I definitely got emotionally involved in this story. That always makes for a great listen. Noah Wall does a fantastic performance reading as well.
