Publisher's summary

I can’t love him. It’s not allowed.

Twenty years ago, I made a promise. If anything ever happened to Marc - my best friend - I'd step up and take care of his wife and baby son.

I never thought I'd have to honor it. Never even dreamed that something would happen to him. He was an unyielding presence in my life. Always solid. Always there.

And now he's dead. Murdered in cold blood.

His wife, Lindy, is hanging in there.

But his son, Mason, isn't coping very well at all. It's gotten so bad that he may have to postpone his final semester of university. All I want to do is look out for him, and having me around seems to help.

But I have a secret. It’s more than grief. Mason wants me - the way an omega wants their alpha.

And heaven help me, but I want him, too.

I'm so sorry, Marc. I love your son. And now I don't know what to do.

Crushing on My Father’s Best Friend is a dual point of view, contemporary mpreg novel featuring a guaranteed happy ending and the healing that comes through the power of love.

Enjoyed the sex and romance

Didn't enjoy the pettiness of some of the characters, the uncalled for drama and the pearl clutching omega, but the sex, anticipation and romance were well done

A sweet and Charming bundle!

I absolutely loved listening entire series.
Each book is engaging with likeable characters and a guaranteed HEA.
The storyline and the author's writing appealed to me but the only snag was that I couldn't relate to the narrator's voice. It wasn't bad, just not what I was looking for. Having said that, it was an enjoyable listen overall.

Great collection of stories. Typical narration. I recommend if you like Austin’s books.

Enjoy

Austin Batee who wrote the series had a good story line but he must not know nothing about gay men for one we can’t get pregnant and the other we don’t get slick down there other than that I enjoyed the storyline

The stories got better and better!

My biggest complaint with this audiobook series is the narrator. His voice just didn’t do it for me. At times I felt he sounded whiney. He made some of the omegas almost childish. But it didn’t stop me from listening to the series! So with this box set you get 6 books. What I liked was it was different storylines for each book. I went in thinking all 6 books would be about dating the fathers best friend. Also, it’s mpreg which is one of my favorite genres of mm romance! Book 1- Mason & Beau. Beau is Mason’s fathers best friend. Can they ever be together? Mason bugged me some of the time but I ended up liking the story.
Book 2- Sawyer and Axel. They have been best friends for a long time. Sawyer has been treated awful by other alphas. He doesn’t see his self worth. Axel is sick of seeing Sawyer get hurt. Can these friends find their way to each other? I loved this one. I felt the story moved along perfectly. Their relationship made sense.
Book 3- Wyatt and Carter. Wyatt’s parents are trash. Both of them end up in jail so that leaves Wyatt to take care of his younger siblings. Carter is a lawyer who is going to help Wyatt get custody of his siblings. Can they cross the line though? While Carter is trying to keep Wyatt’s family together? This one was my favorite. I love Wyatt. He has such a big heart. And Carter is a big softie.
Book 4- Gray and Isaac. This was a second chance story. Gray and Isaac were together as teenagers until modeling took Isaac away. He ends up breaking up with Gray and they never speak again. Burnt out and needing a change Isaac returns home. Returns to Gray. But Gray is not the same person Isaac left all those years ago. This was a good story too. Gray wasn’t a total push over. Isaac had to work to get him back.
Book 5- Hunter and Levi. This is a close second for me. This is an enemies to lovers story. Levi owns the local biker bar, Hunter decides to open a club directly across from Levi’s bar. This story was actually pretty funny. They play pranks on each other. But then they start seeing each other as more than competition. Does love mean more than business?
Book 6- Theo and Nolan. Theo is a blogger with a pretty good following. Nolan owns the local coffee shop and is a big fan of Theo’s blog. Theo starts hanging around the coffee shop working on his novel. Little does he know he has a stalker. Nolan has been hurt by a younger omega before so he doesn’t trust easily. Will he be able to fight his feelings for Theo? And will he be able to handle that Theo is a strong omega that doesn’t think he needs an alpha to protect him.
If you are a fan of mpreg this is a good series to listen to!

Sweet and fun series

I really enjoyed this series. It has a lot to offer with the best romantic tropes, accidental and planned pregnancies and intertwined stories of love and loss. I love the friends to lovers and the dads best friends the best and enjoyed the suspense and stories within the stories. This is amazing with all the books in the series and getting to see the friends and families grow. Highly recommend and a great value of a credit!

Great series

Each story got better than the one before. They had great troupes and suspense within the story line. Overall good. I struggled with the narrator a bit. Some times his vocalization did sound correct to the character.

Sweet bundle

This is a sweet bundle. Some stories are better than other and the narration is a little hit or miss through out with some interesting voicing for side characters but overall They pretty low angst and sweet stories. The can be read/listened to as stand alone and I had been through most of them but I did enjoy going straight from one to the other with the bundle.

A good series

The blurb on this series is only for the first book. They are all pretty good. The title doesn't really do them justice because it only fits book one. The characters are all connected in one way or another though. Overall a good set of low angst stories. Doesn't mean no angst though because a couple of these are deeper than others. I think my favorite ones were the 3rs one on the 5th one. The narrator also did a good job.
