Publisher's summary

“Romance readers will eagerly devour this upbeat contemporary and look forward to Ellis’ next.” (Publishers Weekly)

Jeremiah Stewart’s sexuality is no one’s business. Not that he’s hiding it. When - if - he finds the right one, he’ll absolutely introduce him to Mom. But a late-night brush with a sexy stranger in too much lip gloss has him rethinking nearly everything....

To Collin Galloway, direction is a four-letter word. Sure, he hates his job, he hates living with his parents, and he really hates watching everyone move on without him. But he doesn’t know what he wants to do, long-term, and he won’t figure it out by thirsting over Jeremiah, the superhot, super-intense paramedic who is suddenly everywhere Collin looks.

When Jeremiah’s faced with losing all he’s worked so hard to build, he reluctantly accepts Collin’s help. They’re both determined to stay professional…which works about as well as either would imagine. But Collin only does closets with clothes, and Jeremiah has to decide if he’s finally found the one worth bringing home to Mom.

Awesome!!!!!

The story was very real and “fairytale” at the same time! It’s wonderful to read about gay love and not having promiscuous undertones.

Nice story

This was a good book overall… the story started off a little slow, but started to get a bit more interesting like about 60-65% into the story. I’m going to surmise that that fact was due to the fact that this book is apart of a series, and it is building up to one “grand climax”… either way I’m gonna try to check out the other books in this series at some point and see how I like those.

Beautiful Story! ❤️

Wow! This was my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well narrated and the story was brilliant. It's not frequent that I read books and really like both main as well as the side characters. If I had any minor complaints, they would have been the mother's selfishness with her choices which clearly affected her children's lives so negatively. Not once did she apologize for what she did and it caused the relationship between her and Storm to suffer greatly and was left unresolved. I also felt that the author leaving the situation between Jeremiah and Johnny with no closure took a little away from the story, as did the decision to not include at least one reunion with them and their dad. For that reason alone I deducted a half a star from the rating of the story itself.

Though I joined audible some time ago and have over a dozen books in my library, this is my first time listening to a book straight through with barely any interruptions...it was THAT good! And while I have every intention of listening to it again, I also look forward to reading Andre-- the next book in the series. Well done, Jayce Ellis! 4.5 ⭐

Typical twink meets knight in shining armor

I had high hopes for this book. I was looking for originality. There’s no real plot/climax. It’s also overly unrealistic. Booooooooo! I wish I could get a refund or at least 9 hours of my life back.
