Excellent Resource!

This honestly was the perfect book for me, because I grew up in North America, but I never learned about edible plants. I grew up hunting, not harvesting, so this book was really helpful for me to be able to identify the edible wild plants. I also loved how this book gave a history of them and also teaches you the basics of each of the wild edible plants, and how to prepare and harvest them.

Great Guide!

This was right up my wife's alley!

She is absolutely obsessed with plants and this didn't disappoint. Next time we go back to Canada on vacation we will know what to look for.

I was also impressed with the narration of this book and found the narrators voice to be soothing.

Very informative audiobook.

I worked in a nursery for years and was always interested in edible plants, so I knew this would be fun. Especially as a day activity with my nieces and nephews who will think scavenging for food is the best thing ever. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Foraging made easy !

Have recently wanted to take up foraging as a side hobby while hiking, and thought I'd give this title a shot. Not only does it help you identify a number of edible plants in the wild, but which geographic regions you are most likely to find a given species of plants. It also does a good job of helping you identify which plants to avoid, which is equally important! Narrator is even toned and easy to follow, planning on returning to as a resource.

Good Info To Know

This was a good listen that I never really considered, especially exploring the great outdoors. It's good to remember that mother nature is all around us and willing to provide, even though we often take her offerings for granted. This gave me a different perspective on nature while being very informative.
