Tons of great ideas!

I started a garden in 2020 when I was home a lot. And, at that time, I started to realize the value of being more self-sufficient. I started with the basic stuff: tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, but I always wanted to get more sophisticated. And now I have so mnay more tools. This book was exactly what I needed.

Really recommend this book

This book lays out the essentials one requires to know about gardening. My wife and I are considering gardening and applying the important details and steps mentioned will be a definite guide. The chapters about soils, seeds, composting, diseases, and fertilizer were some of my favorites. I won’t forget NOT to use containers that can be toxic as recommended. I really do recommend this book.

Awesome fun with the family!

My wife has been asking that we start gardening in the backyard as a family bonding experience and I had no idea where to start. I've never really had a green thumb, but I certainly had the interest, so I picked up a few audiobooks to get me started.

I must say, this one, in particular, was exceptional - it provided the basics of what I needed to do to start my mini-produce garden and how to maintain everything well. I found myself revisiting various sections of the book when I was unsure because it is a very thorough book and has all the FAQs covered.
We started off slow with some bean sprouts, tomatoes, herbs, and peppers, and it really turned out to be a great bonding exercise for the family, not to mention we actually got to harvest everything and enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Stellar book -I highly recommend!

Sooo informative!

This audio is packed with everything you would ever want to know about self-sufficient organic gardening. I love how it is written at a beginner level but also contains information that I have never heard before. My favorite part was the fertilizers you can use to deal with pests and the section comparing seed vs. seedling. The narrator also has a great voice and excellent pacing—a joy to listen to.
