This is a collection of 14 works of biblical apocrypha for students of lost Christian writings. The Apocrypha are a loosely knit series of books, written by early vanguards of Christianity (covering the eras of both the old and new testaments), which comprise somewhere between about a dozen to several hundred titles, depending on whom you ask and how that person defines the word Apocrypha. A small selection of these can still be found included in the Catholic bible, while a majority of the books in question, were abandoned by church officials in the early centuries of Christianity.

Three bank robbers are on the run following a rather unusual heist. They decide to seek shelter for the night in a tiny, seemingly harmless town. However, the following morning they awaken to discover that the town they chose is actually some form of disturbingly cheery utopia complete with sickly sweet citizens who have the rather odd habit of breaking into perfectly choreographed song and dance numbers. When they try to leave, they discover that getting out of this bizarre little village may not be as easy as they thought.

Strategic planning needs to be a more integral part of America's foreign policymaking. The Poetry of Kissing. In many ways the title says it all. Kissing is Poetry. The kiss is perhaps the most loving and intimate moment there is. It is amongst our most soothing and treasured memories. This volume is not about the kiss of a mother’s to her child’s scraped knee, or the father to his baby’s head as he settles down to sleep. No, when the poets here talk of the kiss, they describe the longing and desire, the want and hunger to be part of something that so connects them to another.

At this time of the year, as the nights close in and the temperature drops, winter seems like a season that nobody really enjoys, and we look forward all the more to spring. For many children, however, it is the bounty of Christmas that steals their attention, and for others the renewal of the New Year. But for Nature it is a pause for breath, to take stock of what has gone by in the year to date and ready herself for the energies and dramatic development to the landscape that spring will bring.

Christmas, they say, comes but once a year. In these days it seems to also last for much of that year - but this volume is not just for Christmas! For the religious amongst us, this annual celebration of the Birth of Christ must seem bitter sweet: it's acknowledgment by billions of people countered by the pervasive spread of material possessions translating the event to little more than a sales pitch for material wares.
