    In this episode we explore the impact of a cancer diagnosis through a patients eyes and story. We talk to Anna Ridley who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018 and treated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and brachytherapy.

    She talks about her cancer diagnosis and how one of the most difficult times was telling her family the news. She also dealt with some major challenges along her treatment journey.

    She talks about how she stayed positive and kept moving forwards through her treatment and beyond.

    She highlighted that the isolation after treatment in follow-up during COVID made her realise the importance of having a support network around you.
    She tells the importance of continuing to do the things that give you some joy - be it gardening, exercise, walking or anything that's positive for you.

    We were amazed and moved by how honest, brave and eloquent Anna's story is.
