About the Performer

Joshua Jackson most recently starred as the titular character in Peacock’s limited series Dr. Death. The show, based on the hit Wondery podcast of the same name, tells the terrifying true story of a former neurosurgeon who built a flourishing practice prior to killing and permanently disabling patients during and after complex-yet-routine surgeries. In addition, Jackson starred opposite Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington in the Hulu limited series Little Fires Everywhere and the Netflix mini-series When They See Us for Ava Duvernay. Well-known as Dawson’s Creek’s fast-talking, self-deprecating Pacey Witter, Jackson also had lead roles on Showtime’s The Affair and FOX’s Fringe.
Jackson’s feature films include The Mighty Ducks trilogy, Crooked Hearts, The Skulls, The Safety of Objects, Apt Pupil, Cruel Intentions, and The Laramie Project, among others. In 2018, Jackson made his Broadway debut in Children of a Lesser God, and his additional stage credits include A Life in the Theatre in London’s West End and the off-Broadway play Smart People. In 2010, he received the Best Actor Genie Award for his starring role in the Canadian independent feature film One Week. A Vancouver native, Jackson divides his time between his hometown and Los Angeles.

About the Performer

Devon Bostick recently completed a supporting role in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer for Universal Pictures, following a lead role in Salvation, opposite Skeet Ulrich and Thomas Jane. Bostick was a series regular for four years on the CW’s The 100 before appearing in acclaimed filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho’s action-thriller Okja, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, and Tilda Swinton. A trained dramatic actor, Bostick starred in Rob Reiner's Being Charlie; Alejandro Amenabar's Regression, opposite Ethan Hawke; and Atom Egoyan's Adoration, which was nominated for the Palme d'Or and won the Ecumenical Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Bostick is best known for his comedic work as Rodrick Heffley in 20th Century Fox's hit trilogy of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

About the Performer

Humberly Gonzalez starred as Vanessa in the CW hit series In the Dark on Netflix, about a young, blind woman who tries to solve her friend's murder. She subsequently landed a supporting role in the Universal feature film Nobody, opposite Bob Odenkirk.

She stars in the upcoming Netflix series Zeus, which follows the world’s first generation of superheroes who received their powers in the 1930s. She also stars in the CBC series Utopia Falls, a coming-of-age story about a group of teens in a future colony who uncover an ancient archive of forbidden relics.
The actress has guest-starred on some of the most popular shows, including Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia, BBC America’s Orphan Black, Freeform’s Shadowhunters, and CBC’s Saving Hope. Good but too brief

I would have preferred a full length novel. I was excited to see a sequel but this feels like a little teasing snack rather than a fully satisfying meal. I hope there’s much more Oracle to come.

Kept me interested

Love the characters. Love the narration. Don’t normally enjoy multiple cast originals with sound effects but rushed right through this one. Hoping for a third book or podcast performance.

This was great, like a radio show that draws you..

I can't believe the lame reviws, "the language was bad, it was like a radio show," and others without an imagination. This was great, like a radio show that draws you in and grabs you. i listened from start to finish while working on my house. when it got dark I got a little scared and turned it off to listen to the rest in the morning. Guess I got a good artistic imagination because I could see everything and was drawn in like I was there. The performance was great; the actors were very believable. It had me wishing it was a tv show that I could turn on and veg out having popcorn and a beer!

Make sure you listen to it all

This was even better then the first book and was enhanced by the full cast production. For those who think it cuts off short be sure you listen to all 11 episodes (intro + episodes 1 - 10) the way Audible set this one up the episodes after the intro and episodes 1 and 2 are easy to miss. I do wish this was downloadable to the app as at the time I listened it was only available on the cloud player which I don’t like.

Wow…wonderful follow up.

How could you go wrong with Joshua Jackson? He does an amazing job in the cast of Oracle. The whole cast really brings the story to life. Hope there is a third installment!!! Fingers crossed

I liked the full cast

I enjoyed the performances. The story was lack luster, borderline cheesy. The first Oracle was a great story, and great performance.

Joshua Jackson, Devon Bostick et al Rock!

This writer can’t seem to decide what he wants to do with his characters, but the premise and general scariness (not horror per se) are top notch, and the suspense build and jump scares are molto bene, but the writer’s editing team didn’t do the best job. This book had about double the amount of issues noted above that I noticed with the one prior to it in the series.

Still, all of the narrators were good. The female narrators and Joshua Jackson and Devon Bostick were phenomenal though, and this title is honestly worth a listen just for them.

As a voice actor myself, I can definitely say that their performances were excellent.

Experience like no other

Joshua Jackson our does himself. The cast reading makes this a true auditory experience. My teenager usually zones out during our car rides but she was all in!!! Awaits #3
