great story

Oracle 2:The Dreamland Murders was not as great as the first book; however, it was still great. The Characters were very strong and relatable. I think this one left room for another book and could very easily show more development with the female lead Claire and give more back story. One of the lines that stood out to me the most and seemed almost poetic or even philosophical was When Nate said "I grew up in a haunted house," and the man misunderstood and replied with " yeah we all did". That one line, while I may be paraphrasing made the whole story worth the read. I loved it that much.

On episode 4

And so far it is enjoyable. However, the names of some of the characters are different from the book. Tillman’s name was John in the book - now it is Greg. Claire’s ex’s name was Wes in the book, now it is Nick. How hard is it to get names right?

A Modern Spooky Tale

I like the story. Held my interest. I recommend it to people who like mystery and who done it stories.

I Made It to Episode 8

I enjoyed the first Oracle read by Joshua Jackson, but this is unbearable. Jackson reads as if he has a gun to his head. The other actors talk to each other like they're not in the same room (they probably weren't) and many of them put in over-the-top performances. Everything is made worse by the trope-filled dialogue. I listen to a lot of Audible Originals and audiobooks (with and without casts), and this is one of the worst.

Very Bad Acting

Cringe worthy at best. The woman was awful had to turn it off quick. Like a nails on a chalkboard. I was hoping to hear Joshua Jackson’s performance; I like his work; couldn’t get that far. Too bad. The first 5 mins ruined it for me.
