hope there's a 3rd love this story

Oracle 2:The Dreamland Murders was not as great as the first book; however, it was still great. The Characters were very strong and relatable. I think this one left room for another book and could very easily show more development with the female lead Claire and give more back story. One of the lines that stood out to me the most and seemed almost poetic or even philosophical was When Nate said "I grew up in a haunted house," and the man misunderstood and replied with " yeah we all did". That one line, while I may be paraphrasing made the whole story worth the read. I loved it that much.

Bad recording platform

The first book was great. Kept you interested from beginning to end. But there’s nothing like a bad reader/story connection. This would have been so so much better if it had just been read by Joshua Jackson. The radio play reading with additional voices and bad creepy background noises/music just ruined this “audiobook”. The production only takes away from the story rather than improving the story.

Really Great Story!

I’m only reviewing one chapter but it applies to the entire series. Wow! I loved it! A great follow up to The Oracle. The story was creepy but amazing. The characters were fantastic. Part of me loved the full cast. The other part missed just Joshua Jackson. I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more without the music and sound effects. But for people that enjoy that, you will likely love this performance.
The first thing I did when it was over was searched to see if there will be a 3rd The Oracle. So far no news, but if it comes out I am immediately listening!

Bad writing makes for bad acting

I liked the first one but this is so cringey and boring. You can hear the actors trying to work with the terrible dialogue and narration, but the performances fall as flat as the writing itself.

Just … bad.

First of all, it’s like a radio play, not an audiobook. And that in itself isn’t great. The background noises are just distracting, and the performances are over the top. Worst of all, the writing isn’t strong. I kept trying to like it, but just couldn’t. I had to force myself to keep listening. Overall, listening to this book was an annoying experience.

foul language

I do not enjoy an author that resorts to foul language in order to make up for his/her lack of skill in compelling dialogue.
