    Jun 10 2024

In the feature interview presented by NHL Sense Arena, Osaer sat down with InGoal during the USA Hockey National Goaltending Symposium and delivered what is basically a State of the Position address from the youth levels to the NHL, tapping into his experiences since retiring from a 12 year pro career in North America and Europe and moving into the management side of the game. That includes everything from being a director of hockey operations in the NCAA to goalie coaching in the USHL, goalie scouting for the Tampa Bay Lighting, working with the Red Wings since 2019, and perhaps most relevant to this conversation, being USA Hockey's first goaltending development manager and helping to create the first goalie coach development program and 51 in 30 initiative.

In our Parents Segment, presented by the Stop It Goaltending U app, we continue with an important theme that came out of our talk with Osaer and share great reasons every kid should try goalie.

All that, plus another trip to see Cam at The Hockey Shop Source for Sports for an in-depth look at the hot new Bauer Shadow stick.
