Something different

Young Rich Widows was definitely different than any thriller I’ve read before. Like Melrose Place meets Married to the Mob meets one of the first waves of feminism. A lot of fun!

The story was great. The narrators were excellent!!! Get the book!! You will be pleased.

Original, fast-paced and witty!

What a delightful surprise! Like many other reviewers, I took a chance on this because it was free and the summary was intriguing enough. I'm so glad I did! The pace was perfect - developing the characters and the storyline without dragging on too long. The progression of the relationships between the 4 widows, and even the children, seemed somewhat natural (and sometimes hilarious). The story had enough twists that it wasn't completely predictable, but wasn't difficult to follow. The narration really brought the story to life. Hearing the story from the 4 different viewpoints and having 4 distinct voices to go with them was fantastic. It made it easy to connect with the characters. Finally, the writing was top-notch. Though each author had a little bit of their own spin, they all flowed together seamlessly. Such a fun listen!

Surprised I liked it so much!

I usually don’t like murder mystery type of drama’s but this one got me!! I was hooked and so happy with the plot and ending. Amazed!

Entertaining listen

I downloaded this on a whim and was immediately hooked. The narrators were engaging and the story kept me guessing right to the end.

Wow! And Yes!

Such a great listen! Loved the different women’s stories. Also the narration was fantastic, so grateful for the myriad of voices it really brought it all to life.

This story was so much fun, the different narrators, the story, the layers… 10/10 would recommend!

From the first word this book had me.

This was a very unusual book. It had a beginning that grabbed your attention and kept it. Once I started listening I couldn't stop. The characters were really interesting and strong. The narration was done really well. The voices were perfect for the characters. Amazingly well done.

So, I wasn't really sure about this book at first but it is really good. I loved the theater performance style book reading.

Twists I didn't expect!

I was immediately drawn in by the premise of the book, and was hooked almost immediately. I love when different views are read by different people. It makes everything all the more interesting. This book was no different. The women were all different people with different stories and I love it. Some of the twists were so unexpected that I found myself saying a few choice words out loud in my office. It's fantastic. For anyone who likes books that keep you guessing all the way through, this is for you!
