Excellent

Great story and narration…the narrator who was Ellen was perfect for the character. Will be fun to see if this author writes any full length books.

Loved it. The story, narration, all grabbed me from beginning to end. Thanks for the ride.

Audio is inconsistent

I find very distracting that the volume keeps changing mid sentence as if some words were re-recorded and imposed on the original recording.
There are two readers who alternate between chapters who voice both characters on that chapter. This way, Vivian and Cat have different voices and accents based on who is reading. It’s quite unpleasant.
The story is average. A light, non-demanding reading

Could have been better

I thought the ending could have been better but it got worse. Glad it was free or I would have been upset if I paid money for this.

WTf

First
All of the actors were OUTSTANDING, and the accents were authentic and really enjoyable.
Second
I think the author did an n excellent job, it’s not easy to write anything, it’s not easy being a writer.
However,
I HATED the ending
I know not every story can have a happy ending, but it really ruined the whole thing for me.
The descriptive language was excellent and the story had me hooked from the first chapter.
I would’ve liked more heat and suspicion on the main character that was the bad one. Days went by and she wasn’t even questioned by the police, unless I missed it.
I never write any bad reviews.
It’s obvious that this author is very talented.
But I hope this is made into a longer piece, with some changes, especially the confusing, and much too easy ending.

Intriguing

I really liked this novel. It was the perfect length and I don’t mind the cliffhanger ending- in fact, I’m glad the author left it ambiguous. Character development was fantastic and the setting was interesting. I’ll read more by this author. The narrators were terrific.

Got away

Guess it needs a sequel to catch Cat. Kept my attention beautifully, enjoyable, good character development

Entertaining

Not the best story. But the narrators were entertaining. The story itself was depressing and unsettling.

Disappointing characters

The main character Vivian was a tool for the murderer, and upon discovering that, she continues to be meek. I feel sorry for the guy who was set up to take the fall for kidnapping. Police investigation was negligible. Performance was good, ending was disappointing
