Why on earth repair a relationship with his father?

Mostly great story, but just can’t understand a reconciliation with his dad. It kind of ruined an otherwise good story. The male narrator was exceptional.

I absolutely loved this one. Everything from Miles and Montana’s first meet, all the way through to that iconic this is why we love romance books, stop the show declaration, and every single laugh out loud, kick your feet, and heated moment in between will have you consumed.

This was such a joy to read, and I cannot wait for more of this series.

Wonderful small town read

Excellent small town romance. Great banter between the couple, hilarious interactions with the secondary characters (including a somewhat invasive moose), and enough spice to keep things interesting. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Warm-hearted

Laura Pavlov is an excellent author. A favorite of mine. I love her small town romances. This one was a one nightstand with a billionaire, that has a bit of enemies to lovers romance in it. It was warm-hearted. The characters made me laugh. There were times I teared up. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

The narrators were excellent. Love their voices. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. It was perfection.

Laura Pavlov has done it again! In my opinion, Laura is the queen of small town romance and this one was no different. From beginning to end, Montana and Myles had such a special connection. I loved seeing how their relationship developed from when they first meet. The effortless transition from friends to more was so well done and paid off very well in the end. Montana's dreams for falling in love are so relatable which made me love her even more. Myles, oh you stubborn man, you were so blind to how gone for this woman you truly were. Blushing, Alaska as a backdrop was utter perfection and makes me want to go to Alaska and fall in love. My most favorite part was learning the meaning behind the title!

Amazing

Montana and Myles… love them.. Laura Pavlov goes to Alaska… and I loved it!! Montana runs a wedding business in her hometown and Myles buys the main venue she issues and is making it bigger. Love their random meet and then hoe they connect. I loved their friendship developing and then admitting their feelings. Laura Pavlov writes great friends and family who really are there for everyone!!! Another great read! The audiobook was amazing.. love these narrators!!

Spicy Hallmark!

This was a spicy hallmark and I absolutely loved it! It was a quirky small town with an incredible romance! I adored Myles and Montana, their chemistry was fun and full of passion! I adore blushing with all its warm vibes. The moose and porky pine were a wonderful addition! Their story was like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold night! The side characters are incredible! Their meet cute was freaking hilarious! I can’t wait for book 2! Give me all the Alaskan stories!

Cute romance based in Alaska!

I love Myles and Montana so much!!!


You never really read about Alaska, or FMC with the career of a wedding planner and I truly enjoyed it. It was a cute, refreshing, easy read. The moose and porky had me cracking up as well as the nicknames “Honey Badger” and “Moneybags”. I devoured this book, it has some of my favorite tropes- enemies to lovers, small town, billionaire. Laura Pavlov seriously writes the best books and I have yet to come across one that I didn’t like. Her friend groups are top tier and I was hooked from the first chapter. The last few chapters definitely won me over with this book, the way Myles pulls through and shows Montana, in his way that he loves her. I started tearing up. It was so sweet. I am so excited to continue reading this new series and to become obsessed with these new characters!

This is classic Laura Pavlov: small-town charm, enemies-to-lovers tension, witty banter, and undeniable chemistry. Montana is a total romantic, full of heart and grit, while Myles is all sharp edges and billionaire brooding. Their dynamic begins with sparks and sass (and a little mutual loathing), but quickly builds into a slow-burn, friends-with-benefits situation that morphs into something real.

While it wasn’t my all-time favorite from Pavlov, it was a sweet, easy read with a satisfying emotional payoff and plenty of heat to keep things interesting. If you love a grumpy hero softening for his sunshine, or a wedding planner falling for the man ruining her plans, this one’s got your name on it.

And yes — I’m already impatiently waiting for the next book. Give me that enemies-to-lovers with a single dad and a sassy heroine ASAP. 😍
