Golden Boy

Loving Romeo is book one in the Magnolia series and it did not disappoint! I absolutely loved the story of Romeo and Demi!

These narrators brought this story to life!!

Loving Romeo by Laura Pavlov is the first in her Magnolia Falls series. I listened to the audio and I highly suggest if you get the chance to do so - do it. Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais brought these characters to life. Also - Samantha is the queen of male POVs.

This is an opposites attract, different sides of the track, MMA, enemies to friends to lovers romance. Demi is Magnolia Falls royalty as they say and Romeo is kid with a past we learn about in the story who owns his one MMA gym. The found family vibe of these characters is so fun and refreshing. Both characters go through the “it’s not always what it seems” moments.

When these two finally get together it is magical and hot!! Loved when his buddies were basically like “we see how you look at her.”

The sports aspect and MMA fighting was so fun to read. I haven’t read many MMA romances and I really enjoyed this.

This book had me smiling, blushing, tearing up and turning the “page” to find out what happens next. Also - can we talk about Beefcake!?!? Obsessed!!!

I highly recommend this book especially the audio!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Laura Pavlov’s books. She has this incredible way of making you feel like you know these characters in real life. They are so relatable and fun and I love her writing so much; but what I love even more are her audios. She picks the best narrators possible to narrate her stories. I could listen to them all day long. Every time she writes a new series I just fall in love with these characters over and over again!

I laughed, squealed and couldn’t stop listening.

Romeo and Demi had a Gorgeous Story!

Loving Romeo is the first book in Laura Pavlov’s new series, Magnolia Falls. I highly recommend the audiobook. Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor did a fantastic job narrating Romeo and Demi. They worked well together bringing Laura Pavlov’s story alive. This story is a: Grumpy Sunshine, Small Town, Sports (Boxer), Enemies to Lovers, Opposites Attracts, Found Family, and No 3rd Act Break Up.

The hero is from the wrong side from the of the tracks, and the heroine is a good girl. Romeo Knight rightfully loathes Demi Crawford’s family and by extension, Demi herself. Demi is sunshine and did not understand why Romeo didn’t like her. Her cafe was next to Romeo’s boxing gym. As he begins to train for a fight, Demi’s brother hurts her. A person from Demi’s past won’t leave her alone. Romeo protects Demi, and she helps Romeo train by helping him with his nutrition. Romeo helps her with self-defense. They grow closer, which the pacing is perfect. Demi shares her truths and Romeo shares his truths, which brings them closer together.

There are a few Rocky references, which was a lot of fun. The romance was gorgeously written as Romeo and Demi grew personally and as a couple. I loved the found family that Romeo had, which accepted Demi into their family. There wasn’t a lot showing with Romeo as boxer other than a lot of training as he was considered the underdog until the end of the book, which was pretty epic. There were parts where Romeo physically defended Demi that I did enjoyed Prior to the fight. I loved the small suspense plot at the end of the book. There was nothing I like could nitpick about this book. It’s such gorgeous story
