Good story, great narrators

It was an insta-love story, which is okay. There was some resolution to the main story line, but it was a bit too easily resolved, Some of the problems were glossed over. Considering how fierce these people were supposed to be, it seems surprising to me.

The narrators did a great job. They were easy to listen to and the recording quality was good. Overall, I still enjoyed listening to the story and might check out other books written by this author.

Perfect Storyline, not rushed not too long

I really enjoyed this book
The chemistry between Rafe and Amalia is so tantalizing, sensual and felt so real.
Amalia’s feistiness was written so naturally and Vanessa Vasquez was perfect for this part. I felt her anguish when she realized she was falling in love with Rafe. I actually felt for the life Rafe chose to live in order to protect his family. The story wasn’t rushed nor far fetched, it was just perfect. This is probably one of my favorite Mafia stories and I’ve listened to a lot them.

I loved every single minute of this audiobook! I've read book itself at least a couple times now and the voice actors definitely did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. I can't wait for more audiobooks from the library of Nichole Rose!

It's a little slow.

It's a little slow to get started, but it's a good story and I enjoyed listening. I'm ready for the next book.
