Some things are best left alone. I know this. I should stand by it. That would be the safest option. But, well, I just can’t do that - because the thing I should leave alone...is everything. And then I meet them - bikers, the Knight Brothers.

They can give me the help I need. They have the resources. But there’s a problem: Lincoln Knight.

I can’t stand him. I loathe him. I despise him. And yet, he’s determined to help me. He won’t take no for an answer.

And if I’m being honest...I need him. But working with him, spending time with him, it’s the last thing I want to do...but I have no choice. And I know it. This most definitely won’t end well.

Not your normal MC story

I liked the story well enough, just not your normal MC action packed story. It’s slower, no action. Story is good enough to keep you interested. Not a lot of steamy scenes which isn’t bad, some tearful moments.

Not so great

This was a cute story but it was so immature. Especially the female lead. She is impulsive, naïve and petty for most of the book. Her favorite saying is “I don’t care” but she totally cares. And WTF, why the hell is her ex in the right! He’s a douche! He knew what he was doing. And he could step up after he disappeared but not while she was pregnant! And he knew where she was! A selfish bastard if I have anything to say about it. He shouldn’t have been granted any mercy. The other thing that bugged me is the women were so petty. It was like high school. I did like Lincoln though. She’s lucky he liked her bratty ass and sass because she was way too hard on him. Harder on him than she was Nicolo for Christ’s sake.

girl needs to be single a while...

I feel bad saying this, but the female lead came off as sorta... pathetic. like any guy who would look her way could have her and unless a guy wanted her she was of no value. I get it being part of her past, but even in the present with the hero she give off the impression that's she developing an unhealthy obsession with him. and then when I found out the reason she wanted "help" I felt like the heroine was the one in the wrong.

Narration is EVERYTHING.

I'm not always so sure i will like a book when I first start it, but I continued to read because of the narrators. the storyline did grab me. I will read the other books for sure. although, sometimes its hard to read the MMC is a player. I am just not a fan of that, but oh well, I liked the book.

Lost child

I listen to a lots of audio and most of the time I don’t give a review but got to do this one she tell her store and she looses her child she get help and find after 4 years and that the end of that part of the story it leaves you hanging to much for me I don’t like at all …. What about the father ? What about that lady she had a problem with from the very beginning? Did her son ever come stay with her? To many unanswered questions
