I Liked The Players and The Game

"Played By The Bishop" is a fairly good start to what looks like a great series by Samantha Barrett. With experienced performers like Elena Wolfe and Teddy Hamilton she couldn't go wrong...what would have made it more awesome is if this title had been performed in duet style. There were obvious plot holes: Kiara (with the unique name that she never changed) is able to "disappear" for a while despite no money or connections and both Bishop and her father - who have all the money and connections at their finger tips - couldn't find her. And also: Bishop owns the university but didn't know Kiara's father (a head mafioso himself) was a professor there? And why bother to have Carlina kidnapped as a means to have Kiara returned to him? All he had to do was ask her to visit him after class then take her there....see? Plot holes. And as much as I enjoyed the performance...I found some of the sex talk cringe-worthy - like some cheesy porno...lol.. The cliffhanger at the end into King's book definitely intrigues me!

3.5 starz - worthy of a repeat listen

I am hooked! I need to know all the details. WTF! Enemy turned lover. Missing dad shows face. King has a child! Give me more!

Amazing

Just like the book the audio is amazing. It had me giggling like a school girl the whole time

awesome plot

this is a new author to me and her style is great pre ordered the next book worth the credit

Too many plot holes

I'm sorry but the whole plot of this story is so weak. This need more thought put into it. The writing was not bad but the events what went down were so unbelievable and the author needed to ask themselves does this make sense and does the timeliness make sense. The narrators did what they could.
