Story
A lot had changed in "The Holy Sky" School during the six weeks that Hadjar Darkhan was away. Everyone who was in the capital at the time became much stronger, thanks to the regular skirmishes along the Imperial road. By the emperor's decree, all the disciples of the Imperial martial arts schools were allowed to visit the infamous and highly coveted Wastelands. "The Holy Sky's" disciples were especially fortunate - they'd been given a two-week head start to find the map leading to Emperor Decater's tomb, as well as the key that would allow them to enter his chambers.

Incredible!
Truly an amazing story, this is one I'll have to listen to one more time because wow!
Highly recommend for everyone who wants an epic adventure.
The voice acting isn't bad, but there are a few voices that remind me heavily of Harry Potter characters or the Joker. Other than those small details I absolutely love this series.

Each book gets better and better and better
Great series. I was hooked in the beginning of the first book but as it went on I found myself getting more emotionally invested in the characters. to me that is one of the biggest things about a great series. I even yelled and fist pumped at the part near the end (don't want to spoil it but after you read you'll know)

great book but a bad ending possible spoiler alert
amazing book wonderful performance but I don't like the way it was ended. because I don't like replacing established power sets or established characters for that matter. especially this far down the series because that can easily make you feel like you're starting the series over again. however having said that I will definitely be getting the next book whenever it comes out because I can't wait to see where it goes I have a few suspicions but we'll see I would definitely recommend this book to others but definitely start with the first one.

Another great read in the series
Now we're hooked on the Frith Chronicles, we just had to read this one.
OK, in parts, it's a little slow but the story is good. I loved the twist at the end - although not what they did to the character (but that's artistic flair I guess)
There's a tonne of repetition for things we know already : characters, skills, etc. etc., etc. I wish that they'd just realise if you're reading book 5, you might actually have read the others....
Even with that being said, it's a good continuation of the series.
