Great shorts

Great short stories that give a lot of context to characters from the within the main series. which is also amazing by the way.

Great addition to the series

I really enjoyed this book even though it was a bit of a side trip for the main series. This book is a series of short stories that take place before, during or immediately after the events in the World Serpent Arcanist as seen through the eyes of other major secondary characters. We get stories from Illia, Adelgis, Calisto, Hexa, Zelfree, Orwyn, Mathis Weaversong and Rhys’ POV. In these short stories we are giving more of these characters’ back stories, their personalities, and motivations which adds even more dimension to the overall series and the main story arc. It also gives us some hints about what is coming next. The book includes end of the world scenarios, paranormal creatures, loyal friends and family, complicated families, painful pasts, mystical coincidences, snark, love, secrets, and laughs. I love this series.

Brian Wiggins did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

NOT SEQUEL- EXTRA SCENES AND BLOOPERS

This book is not a sequel. it is a bunch of extra scenes that were edited out of books 1-5. If I'd known that I still would have got it but it wouldn't have been a let down. Sounds like the author was going through some stuff as seen in the pre-book credits, so I'm glad to show my support in buying the book. Can't wait till the next one comes out.

the BLOOPERS!

i just need to say that i really appreciate the fun the author had with the bloopers towards the end. i especially enjoyed the pokemon references.

Great Stories to fill Gaps

The stories are great. Fills in a lot of gaps from when characters separate in earlier novels. Also explains why characters chose whatever side they are on. I wish there was a female narrator for the female perspectives, and the voice/intensity chosen for one of the male stories killed me.
