Great start!

Though I would have liked to get to know the MC a little more at the beginning of the book. Things hit the ground running and rarely slow down through the book. The ring warlock concept was cool and the world was interesting. I enjoyed the narrator’s performance. I will definitely check out the next book.

Great Story Gets Great Narration

I had the good fortune to read an ARC copy of this great story and was a little worried hearing the audiobook version would ruin it for me. Ryan H. Reid did a great job giving this story the voices it needed.

Anime in novel form

What a fantastic book. So bingeable and cannot wait for more. Book 2 cannot come soon enough

Cool concept voiced perfectly

The world draws you right in immediately. It’s visceral and real. Not a moment is lost in building the stakes, the listener is launched right into the action and is kept there the whole time. And let me tell you, I’ve heard a few narrations by Ryan H. Reid, and he keeps getting better. I loved each of his well crafted characters. He brings a life to them that’s not even explicitly on the page - what talent!
