good story, took a while to get used to narrator
combines small town, animals, talking to animals, veterinary staff, mystery. narrator had main character using the voice of a senior vet, then a teenager x then someone in between. hard on the ears. by the end the narrator had a decent voice for each of the characters. story good. decent mystery, cozy styling to the characters. just what I like.

Highly Recommend
Paula Lester’s Witch Doggone Killer is a clever whodunit murder mystery, full of warmth, comedy and cozy, small town charm. Narrator Julie John does an excellent job bringing to life a variety of descriptive and interesting characters in a compelling way, and easily transports the listener to the quaint town of Superior Bay, Michigan and into the world of its beguiling heroine.
