Publisher's summary

This book chronicles the life of Denise Jones - a journey from poverty, incest, drug addiction, and incarceration to sobriety, spiritual redemption, and inner peace. Deep insecurities and inferiority fueled my drug addiction and role confusion, tormenting me for many years. I often wondered if I was a boy or a girl. Who am I? What am I? Why am I?

At age 26, Denise met the Lord Jesus Christ who gave her a second chance and rewrote her destiny. Upon changing her lifestyle and connecting with positive people, Denise overcame the adversities controlling her life.

A modern masterpiece

A very well written book that takes plunges us to a hard, dark, and dangerous journey of addiction. throughout this journey, redemption seemed ultimately elusive due to stubbornness, ego, and pride.

This book had so many characters, some you will hate, and dispise. Others you will root for with all your heart and mind.
