Great duet narration. Amazing romantic story.

Durban Hennessy just got dumped. A 4 year relationship, long distance, and she calls him to dump him.

Campbell Hawthorne got cheated on after being with the guy for 5 years. And he slept with her cousin no less. Now she has to be the party planner who plans their wedding! Talk about awkward!!!

Nothing I love more than two people who’ve known each other for years but never got along. He’s grumpy. She’s late for everything. And these two are absolutely perfect for each other!

Walker Rose writes another five star read that will keep you intrigued until the super romantic ending. The story is all about Campbell having to deal with her cousin and ex getting married at her family farm. But. . . there’s also Durban Hennessy, part owner of the local Foster House Whisky distillery and he’ll be bartending at all of the events.

These two start out as secretly hooking up but of course feelings come into play. There’s plenty of super steamy times. Soul-searching talks. I loved how Durban admits he really didn’t know Campbell and made wrong assumptions about her. And Campbell steps up to help her family and her own career despite having to deal with her ex. Oh this wedding is going to blow up. You can feel it. And believe me it’s so worth it in the end.

I can’t wait for the next book in the Foster House series!

This was a fun, steamy small-town romance about Campbell, a stressed event planner stuck organizing her cheating ex’s wedding, and Durban, a rugged cowboy-turned-distiller who becomes her unexpected escape.

The new to me narrators Marissa Clay and Will Speare truly were amazing. Marissa delivers Campbell’s emotional spiral, humor, and vulnerability with authenticity and heart, making her instantly relatable. Will Speare is perfectly cast as Durban—his steady, confident tone captures Durban’s calm intensity and emotional restraint beautifully. Together, their performances create natural chemistry and elevate both the romance and tension.

This audiobook is immersive, well-paced, and a great example of how strong narration can enhance a story. Huge thanks to Ear Candy Promos and Walker Rose for the ALC.

My New Favorite Series!

This was a new author for me, as well as new narrators. Walker Rose wrote a fascinating, romantic read: I was captivated by the characters and their stories. I can not wait to delve into the rest of the family! Narration was absolutely perfect! Will Speare has the perfect intonation and sexiness. Marissa was just as enticing as the heroine! I am very; happy to have been a part of their world and will happily delve into the next book!

The narration, the spice, the story I just gobbled this up like it was my last meal!

Campbell is in her home town planning her exs wedding to her cousin no less and stressed to the max. Have no fear tho Durban comes to her aid with some great stress relief 😉 😉

Oooo I just loved these two. I truly enjoy Walker Rose writing style. It is emotional, a little bit funny, spicy, and so damn addicting!

I really felt bad for Campbell. She had to not only plan her ex’s wedding to her cousin, but also pretty much do everything she dreamed of for her future wedding because her cousin wanted to copy her. Absolutely wild.

Durban and Campbell had amazing chemistry from the very beginning of the book. The mouth on that man! I loved how organically it felt that Durban’s feeling grew from just wanting to be secret hook ups to catching feels. He really pulled out all the stops!
I loved the ending!!

For the Audiobook: another couple of new to me narrators! I think they had great chemistry and did amazing with the banter.
