Solid message, read in the wrong tone

Incredible, timeless learnings. Unfortunately the reader delivered in a sing-song-y, breathy manner that felt disconnected to the message. For me, it was difficult to pay attention, hearing it read in what felt like a children’s book kind of voice, while the contents are mature, deviously funny, and profoundly severe. This made me doubt that the reader had any experience with the teachings, creating a disconnect that was almost insurmountable. I would love to have heard the author read it, or at least someone who had personal experience with what was being read.

Wonderful voice for the content. Beautiful flow and amazing material to connect with. It often helps me sleep!

Much needed read.

Found this book the day I was broken up with and definitely a good read if you’re going through a hard time. There was a lot useful advice and reassurance. Enjoyed the soft spoken narration, too.

Wise and insightful

This, like many other books sharing the Dharma, provided wise and insightful thoughts, provided new perspectives on how to find peace and belonging, and helped me be more mindful.

Excellent journey, clarity

The subject is all timing related. You will understand what you need to wherever you are on your individual journey. I will listen several times and then again.
