Great Book! Worth the credit/money.

Another great book by Mariana Zapata and a great audio performance. ❤️❤️ I have been waiting for the audio to come out and it's great.

The Slow Burn Queen Does It Again

I am addicted to slow burn romance and no one does it like MARIANA ZAPATA. This was a fun romantasy for someone who likes the slowest of slow burns!

Duet style with fun story line with MZ’s flair for storytelling

Loved it was duet. Female narrator was extremely entertaining, the male narrator was good, some slight issues with not much variation of inflections at times; but I still give them a 5. The story: I loved. MZ hasn’t written a story I haven’t loved. This was the first time I had to do audio only and the story didn’t lag, or bore me. Emotional slow burn that entertained and gets your feelings involved.

I love that she is writing Romantacy now too.

This is the second Romantacy I have read by her and I loved them both. You cannot go wrong with one of her books. All of her audible books have great actors bringing the characters alive.

Soooooo Good!

This was a brilliant story. I had read a couple of neg reviews just as this came out and was a bit worried, but this was as good as Zapata’s previous best works, Luna, Winnipeg, and Rhodes. Seriously. If you like Zapata’s books, and you are open to a magical world, you’ll love this. I wish all the other romance authors in the world would read Zapata, and then write more books with engaging, fleshed out stories and slow burns like she does.
The female narrator was EXCELLENT. The male narrator voiced the MMC very well, but let the book down by not using alternate voices for secondary characters. I think he tried to use a different inflection for Franklin, but it wasn’t consistent. I really noticed the lack of differentiation for Duncan and Matty (Maddy?) though, and this took me out of the story a few times. I don’t understand why the producer wouldn’t have taken a minute to workshop the voice for Duncan, when he’s such an important, but unusual, character. The book deserved a bit more attention to detail. Luckily because the narrator did the MMC so well, he didn’t bring the story down too much.
