The challenges that Oprah went through

Listening to this book has opened my eyes to Oprah and the numerous obstacles she has overcome despite the challenges life has thrown at her. She serves as an inspiration to many people. I hope she continues to do what she does best: teaching others ways to view the world differently.

Inspiring

This book was a reminder to reflect on everything you are and remembering what it is you want to be. For those already on a spiritual journey, this is a wonderful reminder. For those of you beginning a new spiritual journey, it’s a great place to start.

I like that she shared her most private thoughts and so many reflect mine own.

“Nothing happens until you decide to make it happen.” This is my favorite quote from this book as Oprah candidly shares her most meaningful ‘ah-ha’ moments which has consequently provoked some of my own.

What I learned for sure....

Many of the comments Oprah makes, coincide with what I have learned in my own life. Much of which has been hard won from that harsh mistress experience. In many ways this book was an affirmation. A confirmation if you will, that life is too short to waste on fear & self doubt. Thanks for the insights Oprah!
