Feels abridged, but nicely done.

It was inevitable that the pace of this book would be on another level from the others; there was so much to accomplish in one book. Will did a great job with it, I just wish it would have been spread out over a couple books so it felt less rushed.

Great example; the scene where Lindon brings all of the accessory characters (sister, father, etc.) in front of him at once and neatly tries to wrap up all of their intertwined threads before discarding them for good.

Overall great story and stellar narration.

I really can't say enough about how good this series, and specifically this last novel is. Not only is it a fitting end, it's a satisfying one. Will, thank you. Travis, thank you too. This series is masterful, and I'm so happy I was able to experience it.

Anyone who has read to this point, I hope you enjoyed it as much as i did.

Best series ever

This was the perfect end for a fantastic adventure. Excelent narrative, characters and story. I just hope in the future will would get another lindon adventure. Congratulations Will!

Best books I've ever read

This is Basically my rating for the whole series, so yah. the cradle series is the apitamy of fantasy. It is serious for a good portion of the story, has contextual humor and like half of the bloopers would be funny to someone who had never read any of them. The magic system is very well explained and easy to understand. You will grow to love the characters, and one or two of the villains redeem themselves in touching ways. In my history of books, movies, and my 400 book audible library, my top five favorite characters are Dross, Aithen, Whit, (from the stormlight archive) and Samwise (from the lord of the rings.) This series is beyond Harry Potter, Narnia, star wars, star trek, etc. These books are just that good. If you love fantasy, video games, good writing, character development, and action, you will love cradle. And it's no surprise to me that they're making an animation to.

How dare they end this series!

I could go my whole life listening to this story. Please continue it? We need more “all bright and shiny new”.
