After all the trials and tribulations he had suffered, a prize worthy of the most privileged cultivators was finally within his grasp.

So, he would climb those golden steps just as far as they would take him, even if they led to the very heavens above.

I like the the story, but the narrator is driving me insane with yelling though an entire book

Can't wait for Alex's next adventure, as he continues to battle along the board of fate against the gods. Maybe he will even play his first card with the help of a certain inspector.
