it was good
It was a good story, kept my interest. I liked the first book a bit more bc didn't have so much of the love interest distraction but it still was good. I will definitely get the next if there is one.

Solid cyberpunk world
I really enjoyed the book and the narration was spot on. As previous readers mentioned, this is not a LitRPG book. Yes, there are some similar elements, but those are only due to the mod interface. Everything is for sale. Everyone wants more tech to enhance themselves in order to survive the unforgiving “dog eat dog” world. I wish this world was more fleshed out. We only get glimpses of it through various characters; and only what is important to them. It looks like each character gets a two part story arc (that’s how the books are titled). So I read this one and followed it with Artem: Vengeance, a continuation of this story arc.

Cyberpunk/Armored Core Harem Litrpg?
One of my favorite series from the author though I could take about half the harem fantasy junk. The author tends to lean a bit too hard into female characters that want a second career on Pornhub. But I like the cyberpunk/ armored core themes. He might end the series here but i hope he continues. I liked the MC seriously struggling in book one would like to see more of that in the future.

Makes you sad that it ended so soon.
Amazingly written action packed follow up to the first one. Sad that it wrapped up so fast. Story felt like it was just winding up and then it ended.

Liked it but...
First, narrators killed it, fantastic.
Second, Half the book felt like filler and the other half felt like the author was remembering that they had subplots to wrap up, they just kinda happened rather than being weaved together.
Third, Overall, I liked it. Like the characters and would buy a book 3 if one comes out, though I think it is only supposed to be 2 books?
