Absolutely loved this book. It is far more complex and realistic than others in the same genre. Highly recommend.

This book is everything...

From the impeccable narration to an amazing story line this book has it all. I'm so in love with this story I may listen again although I just finished it.

GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this one started off like most rich boy chases poor girl stories but with a whole lot of spice. It was well written. The cultural details were on point and reminded me of neighborhood I grew up in. The narrator's were able to bring this story to life. Mr. Webber's accent was delicious. Ms.Tusing was delightful.
Claire Contreras was able to throw a couple of surprises in there to keep you guessing. Before I even finished The Player I was already looking for my next book by her to enjoy. Definitely glad I purchased with a credit ;-)

Camila and Warren

This is the first book by Claire Contreras I have had the pleasure of devouring. I am now a fan. This book was sweet, endearing, and heartwarming. I loved every moment of it.
Zachary Webber and Megan Tusing are absolutely perfect for this story, they both brought Camila and Warren to life.

Is a fundamental example of writing at it’s best!!

It's in the top 10!! I kid you not!!

Who was your favorite character and why?
Warren WARZONE!!! Warren is simply every woman's fantasy man wrapped up in a bow! Beautiful, sweet, loving, wealthy, hot and has a heart of gold!! Plus he treats his woman like a Queen!

Have you listened to any of Zachary Webber and Megan Tusing ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have been a fan of Zachary Webber ever since I heard him in Grey!! I do believe he hit it out of the park with this performance! Which I have been telling all my friends to buy ASAP!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Let me say, that the sheer mesmerizing story that had me clutching to every word, to every syllable, to every page. Devouring, consuming the story like a souls dying for it's the last word!

This was a great story coupled with two great narrators. Guess I am on to the next book by this author, wish they were using the same narrators.

The story has a great plot for love & forgiveness. I just wish it would’ve had a couple more chapters into their future. Maybe told us what their life was like. It was still a great read. Definitely worth the credit.

Good story, Cover model is HOT! but I hate....

Good story, Cover model is SMOKING HOT! Books should really give the cover models credit on the jackets because it's their images that get readers to even look at the book before they find out about the writer or story. It's only fair IMHO. But what I hate is whining. Megan Tusing narrating is ok but the constant whining voice is irritating. Zachary was great even as Camilla. Megan does not pull off a tough New Yorker even a little. A New York woman who blushes when gorgeous men at a bar hit on her. When does that ever happen? Maybe for someone who is new to the city but a seasoned New Yorker that Camilla is supposed to be wouldn't have batted an eye and would've had a witty retort faster then an eye-roll so that was totally unbelievable for me.

Camilla was written with the reactions of a teenager. I just didn't buy her a true female lead character. The idea of the story I liked but does the guy always have to be rich? I mean that is becoming so tiresome. I liked the book but it could've been better. Strong female characters are not a turn-off I wish there were more than just in J.D. Robb's In Death series.
