This book hooked me from the first chapter. It was my first J Saman book and I devoured it! The character development and packing was fantastic, and kept me turning pages desperate to find out how this is going to unfold. The spice and tension was perfection and fit the narrative and character development perfectly.

Stella's warm, sensual tone was perfect for Liora. She is excellent at playing FMCs that you root for and this was no exception. Connor portrayed Vander with the perfect amount of grumpiness and sweetness. His deep rumble is sensual yet protective and reels you in.

I highly recommend this if you love single moms, second chances, kinky spice, and a bit of suspense in your romance!

This story is full of angst and heartache, but it is all so worth it in the end. It's the perfect autumn listen—just be warned, the heat coming off this audiobook is enough to keep you toasty without a blanket or fireplace!

Enjoyed this dual style narration

I have loved this whole series and listened to the audio for much of it. This was no exception.

Vander and Liora have a history but in the present, it's very much a love/hate relationship. I really enjoyed both characters. Even during the 'dislike' stage, they very much cared about the other. The spice is very spicy and the way Vander steps in to take care of Liora and her daughter was so swoony.

Connor Crais and Stella Hunter did a great job with the audio. It is dual style which I know some don't like but I don't mind it at all. Both of these two do a good job with all voices and didn't take me out of the story at all. There are a lot of characters to portray, including young Hazel, and both Connor and Stella varied everyone enough to make me feel a part of each scene.

Hacker meets Single Mom

If J. Saman writes it, I’ll read it. 🙌Forbidden second-chance romance? Single parent trope?? YES PLEASE.

This book had me hooked from page one and ended way too soon — I could’ve read 400 more pages of Vander & Liora.

Vander is a secret hacker, hiding behind his CEO title at a cyber security company. He’s grumpy, broody, and living in his “closet layer”. When he runs into his high school love, Liora, she doesn’t even recognize him. But curiosity (and a little snoop-stalking 👀) gets the best of him and he learns she’s a single mom working two jobs while in nursing school.

Their reunion isn’t all sunshine — their past is tragic, her present is messy, and he’s her new boss. The tension, banter, and slow softening of Vander’s grumpy heart had me swooning. And the spice? 🔥🔥🔥

Bonus points: Connor Crais + Stella Hunter absolutely nailed the narration.

😍 That was amazing! I loved Vander and liora’s story. This is a grumpy/sunshine billionaire second chance swingle mom romance and it was freaking delicious! Their childhood sweet hearts second chance was really well crafted and the scenes between her daughter and Vander where amazing. Wrap that in their love story and I’m a gooey mess of heart eyes. Loved it and the narrators did fantastic. Thank you for this amazing listen.

Vander & Liora

It’s one thing to read a book and another to listen to one. I’m so glad that I chose to listen to this one. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter did an incredible job bringing J. Saman’s emotionally charged second chance love story to life. This story gave me all the feels. Vander comes off as broody and aloof, but peel back his protective layer and he’s so much more. Liora’s the ultimate mama bear. Strong and fierce and willing to do or sacrifice anything in order to keep her child safe, but the true star of the show was little Hazel. Vander’s interactions with Hazel pulled at my heartstrings and made me love him even more. I enjoyed the suspense element and catching up with the dynamic cast of friends and family. This was definitely a 5 star listen.

Second chance perfection!

This was my first J. Saman book and I need to go back and start at the beginning. I was hooked on Vander and Liora immediately!!! I love me a good second chance, brother's best friend story and this delivered in full.

When Vander lays eyes on the only girl he has ever loved 10 years after breaking both their hearts he is obsessed! As a hacker he finds out what he needs to about Liora's last 10 years of living. He knows it is wrong but he seriously has the best of intentions when it comes to her no matter if his ways are questionable or not. He refuses to accept her attempt at keeping him at arms length which just makes the story all the better.

Liora has been on her own for the last 10 years and is now a single mom doing what needs to be done to pay the bills. She keeps a low profile for a good reason and the entire time this story is going on I was desperate to know who, what, and why this was the case. She still loves Vander and yet kept trying to push him away. Then the answers I was seeking were revealed and my heart broke for her. Good thing Vander never wavers from his lifelong love for her and is by her side this time around. They both finally get the HEA they deserve.

I took the audio route with this and the narrators had me finding every opportunity to listen. Stella Hunter and Connor Crais made this all the more enjoyable to listen to. They were amazing. Narrated in dual style each of them shows their talent when it comes to the opposite sex characters and voicing them. I always know I am getting listening goodness when these two are involved!

Undeniably Fabulous!!

Move over Stone and Tinsley, Vander and Liora are my new favorites! I loved this enemies to lovers story with so many twists and turns. A fabulous finish to the Boston Billionaires series!! J Saman did it again!!

This series just keeps getting better with each book! Vander has to be one of my favorite morally grey book boyfriend. Liora is a great FMC. Strong independent mother who takes no crap. The emotions with these two is amazing and hot! Love a second chance romance with best friend’s sister. Liora is the bright color to Vander’s grey corruption.

I loved the first half & laughed out loud several times.

She’s a funny, smart, protective mama bear and has a backbone!

Narration was phenomenal 10/10!! Really enjoyed both narrators.
