Publisher's Summary

The thrilling conclusion to the Naked Trilogy.

He came into my life. He took me off guard, consumed me. Claimed me. But there is more to Jax North than meets the eye. There is more to this man than the way he makes me tremble, sigh, and even smile when I didn't believe I still could smile. And as it turns out the two of us together are far more than fire and passion. The two of us together threaten to expose a secret about Jax, and our families, that not even we know. A secret that someone doesn't want exposed. A secret that someone will do anything to hide.

Mysteries solved in part 3 of Emma & Jax

Somewhat predictable but nice having previous main characters Greyson Bennett and Eric Kingston. Also Savage plays a big part. More action, sex and romance but ending was rushed after 2 previous partial books of filler so and epilogue would have been in order- or maybe we’ll se more of Emma and Jax if brother Chance gets a book. Really hate the 3 part format and won’t stand for it without the Escape Package. 1 well written and well edited story is so much more desirable than 3 thinly disguised partial books with cliffhangers, lots of repetition and uninteresting filler, and strung out scenarios that serve as distraction rather than integral to the plot. Also getting tired of bad parents- amazing that with those role models the main characters turned out as well as they did.

"Whiskey and kisses go together." - Jax

This is so overly dramatic that it lost me in the first few chapters. These two have only known each other for two weeks, but we get talk of undying love, moving in together, and even hints of proposing😒.

Maybe this is what romance is now, but it just seemed silly for me.

The characters were reacting to things as though they were bipolar. One second Emma wants to spend her life with Jax, but four pages later she is trying to leave, on the next page she is begging him to leave her, and then after they are intimate she is in love all over again 🙄.

So why did I continue?

Well, I really just needed to know how the mystery part of the book ended. Unfortunately, even that was overplayed. The mystery wasnt as exciting in the end but wasnt completely predictable either.

Horrible Beginning, Good Ending

I was very annoyed at the beginning as Emma's character is truly annoying. A lot of round and round with her saying she can't stay but then she does stay. I felt as if the story was stuck in limbo as the info given was useless with bringing us closer to finding out "who-done-it".

Then about half way in, the story picked up and I found the conclusion to be a bit of a shocker.

Jason Clarke is at the top of his craft. That man has a way of making all his characters (even the female ones but more so the males) sound interesting and sexy. Loving him!!! It would have been better had Jason just read the whole book.

As for Erin Mallon, in the beginning, I really liked her way of narrating but am starting to lose that loving feeling. Her voice has been grating on me lately. I thought she sounded extra whiny in these books.

Shocking and so good!

This trilogy has kept my mind whirling through all the possibilities and all the hidden pieces. Never expected it to end like this, but oh, it was so good! Jax grabbed my heart from the first chapters, and he continued to hold on all the way to the end. Emma was the compliment to the equation that just made your heart happy but also ache when you realized all the traumas she had endured. I listened to the audiobooks of this series, and hearing the story build through the narrators, was truly an experience. Definitely a great way to experience it. I was so hooked after book one, there was no way to not finish the series. Such a great ending!

So many times I should've just stopped listening

So just don't even start listening and save a credit or at the minimum, your time. I don't usually yell at books but soooo many times I asked the characters "why?? why would you do that?" and not in a good way. In a very frustrating, out of character way. There was so much redundancy in this trilogy, repetitive phrases that may be there to add impact but just become annoying after a while. Also, I couldn't listen to the female narrator, she just seems so frantic all the time. I much preferred Jason Clarke's impression of Emma instead, more cool, calm, and in control. I also dislike poor and immature communication between partners and this had A LOT of that. Very soap opera esque...they'd start a conversation and then just leave it or find another place to have it and then end up just having sex. They solved everything with sex, which isn't a bad thing but I do like some resolution with communication as well. Plus there's definitely a rape TRIGGER with flashbacks so beware, Also for as smart as Emma is and how much she said she's grown and changed, she is just so stupid sometimes. I couldn't. I listened til the end because I had invested too much time to stop but I wouldn't recommend to anyone else.

The end was a shocker! Eek!

Ioved the entire series. The narrators are 2 of my favorites. The end was shocking, I seriously had to rewind it to make sure I was listening to it correctly.
