From the world of Push and Pull comes a new unexpected forbidden romance…

My name is Tate Eckhart, and I love my life. I have a great job, a sick wardrobe, drive a fancy car, and sip scotch old enough to be my Daddy.

I’m fine with being known as the bad guy, the troublemaker, and the unattached harlot out of all my friends. Hey, if the Burberry loafer fits, right?

Money, control… lust, no strings attached. It’s how I’ve been living since that one night, back in college when I stepped over a line with one of my closest friends, only to discover the truth.

Love is for suckers.

Who cares if he’s abnormally beautiful and built like a Norse god? He ran out of my life after an incident that was very ungodly.

But that’s all in the past… Or at least, it was.

Bumping into each other in the most unexpected of places has to be a coincidence, a humorous joke from the big guy upstairs. Because my old pal is now a pastor. And he’s married… to a woman.

Doesn’t matter. I don’t have time for relationships, feelings, or thinking about what could have been.

But when we’re alone, it seems like neither of us can practice what we preach. And what we do in secret feels damningly good.

Keeping it going is asking for trouble…

But I suppose if I’m already on my knees, I might as well beg for forgiveness.

Trouble is a second-chance MM romance. It is a standalone spin-off from the world of Push and Pull.

I absolutely loved this book! The twists and turns were great. I was thinking they were going into another direction with the wife and that was not what happened. I’m not going to spoil it for anyone. But there were times I was listening to this book peaking through my eyes like, “you guys are going to get caught”! In the way you are thinking and not the way you may think. But why is this so sexy. Nyla K killed it again. I bow 🙇‍♀️ down to the greatness. All of her books go on automatic buy.

Whoa what a wild ride

Loved getting to know Tate more, I love his sense of humor. This story took me places I didn’t expect and ended perfectly IMO!

Tate!

This book was 20 hours of some of the most explicit, depraved, controversial, sexual filth…. 5 stars.
Towards the end, it did start feeling a bit like a chore to listen to and get through it… 3 stars. So story gets 4 stars. Otherwise, overall pretty good. Excellent performance.

Absolute filth

I had already read this book when it came out but was so excited to see an audio version available. It was everything I had hoped for. I can’t get enough of this hot-as-fire couple! Everyone needs a little Trouble and Sunshine in their lives!!

So one of my new favorite characters of all time is one of the MMC’s, Tate! He made me laugh sooooo much, probably more than I’ve ever laughed while reading a romance. This is a beautiful and emotional story, definitely had me crying. I’m glad I finally took a chance on this book. I liked this one more than the first one. There’s also some great smut in this. I definitely recommend!

Pleasantly surprised!

Nyla K writes about things that sort of push the envelope - so to speak - and I finds her work very refreshing and definitely spicy! I only had a couple of issues with "Trouble": I felt a disconnect with Lance and Tate in some of the dirty-talk scenes; Lance was so unsure with his sexuality but all of a sudden he's calling Tate a c@.ck slut and other similar degrading things. I'ts not so much that I disapproved - some might - but it just felt forced and unnatural so it took me out of the scene sometimes. The 2nd issue is one I tend to notice about Nyla K's work in general: her endings tend to be long and out stay their welcome.... instead of feeling like "wow, this was amazing; I'm sorry it's over!" I'm thinking "wow, this is pretty long, how much time is left"? Theo Sinclair is one of my favorite male performers and I truly enjoyed him in this title. I'm starting to get to know Christian Leatherman and I thought he did good job as well.

4 starz - worthy of a repeat listen

I really enjoyed this!

Great story, had me laughing, gasping and swooning the whole time. But anything Nyla K writes is always awesome.

Wow lots of up's and downs

This book literally had everything. I rarely write reviews, but there was no way I could not write a very lengthy review on this book. I knew what I was getting into when I purchased this book. I knew some things were going to be very triggering for me because I was raised in the church and I do have beliefs as a Christian and do's and don'ts and strong feelings about cheating. But I really wanted to challenge myself. Now again, I am not here to judge anyone when I explain this and I wholeheartedly get what he says about people interpreting things different and not pushing what you believe on others. But with all due respect, Lance was horrible. and when I say horrible I mean the way he did things and then blamed others. So just up front there's going to be a lot of spoiler alerts but I have to vent. So if you don't want to know everything, don't read past this. First of all, it pisses me off when people feel the things that happen to them in life, whether it's good or bad or when they talk about Faith or a pathway they assume it's always God doing. This triggered me because him being a pastor and a believer never mentions the devil. It baffles the mind that people can think that one exists without the other. I have more respect for the people who think neither exists because in itself you saying that if one exists your inadvertently admitting that you believe the other exists. At least Tate was being honest and saying he was on a one-way ticket to hell. Being a person brought up in church with faith and believing in the Bible , what makes him think that being afraid from the path he was on was not the devil's doing. The devil is the destroyer of marriages, so no, God would not either send you a wife or allow you to have a wife and then be okay with you cheating on that wife and lying. Because regardless of how you entered that marriage, no one force you especially at the age of 25. So let's cut the BS about them scheming to get y'all together. I culturally have many friends who are in marriages due to arrangement and it's the norm for them. You being set up with a female is not someone forcing you into a marriage and plus he never used the word Force. He said push her into my life well dude, you've been dating girls prior so even if it wasn't this girl you would eventually married a girl. No one told you to not come out before 25 and say that you are either bisexual or gay. So we going to stop blaming the parents and your ex-wife for why you got married. And when you are married, God blesses that marriage regardless. That was the devil that tempted you to step outside of your marriage boldly looking your wife face and lied to her every time and stick your dick in someone that wasn't her. You made vows before God and a covenant with the three of y'all. And if we completely remove the homosexual aspect of this, you were still dead wrong! Because if nothing else in the ten commandments, adultery and lies are definitely two that are listed that you should not do. Your dad may have been wrong for keeping that lie away from you all but you cannot put this on your parents. The one lie your dad told was the fact of allowing you to think that he was your biological father and the other one was just a deadbeat act. Sorry, there's a lot of deadbeat guys that don't own up to their responsibility, but that in itself is still not a sin. It just makes you an a****** .He was never married to Tate's mother, so he never committed adultery. He just left her and went and married the other woman. He never cheated on his actual wife which was Lance mother. Was he dead wrong for that? absolutely yes! but again your sins Lance were far worse. Then you want to blame him for everything you did wrong because he didn't come out and tell you the truth. You knew back in college that the guy you been developing feelings for was your brother. and even though it turned out not to be your blood brother, you were willing to have an incestuous relationship with him and not tell him anything. I'm sorry that's on you buddy. You were old enough to know better. You can't blame someone for that. Then the arudacity to compare your dad being a dad beat father and lying about who his son was in comparison to all the sacrilegious stuff you did throughout this book is complete BS and very triggering! So it was your dad's fault that you never came out and said that you was confused about your sexuality or that you were bisexual or gay. It was your dad fault that you married the woman that they introduce you to or brought into your life. No one hold a gun to your head, and so it was also their fault that you purposely after 15 years went out in search of the boy you love once before. and I guess it's also their fault that you decided to commit adultery and that you decided to lie to your wife.

Awesome, Hot but Triggering!
