With Leon sidelined to get rest after all the events that have come before it's time to focus more on relationships. If P.G. Leon’s little brother Colin and older brother Nyx experiences more growth in this single novel than Leon does in the past 4. Criminally under appreciates Luxion, rarely sees the fault in his own actions, and has 0 ability to reflect on his past to be a better person. This one was a hard listen. I love the series but if the MC doesn’t develop, then why even continue? Of course, I know theres plenty of novels after this one that haven’t gotten audiobooks yet so I’m eagerly awaiting the next one to know if things change and I’m just complaining about an issue that probably has already been fixed in the next volume or the one after.

This probably should have been a .5 chapter as the plot did not really advance but it was still good. I hope they make the next volume into an audiobook soon.
