the powersets and upgrades this book adds on are phenomenal! we get to see some really cool abilities presented! and the newest floor of the tower adds some fun world building.

Another addition to the Tower Climber's series
These books are good story is interesting to me at least but so confused on the rating of this book seems like it has minimal swearing yet describes brutal combat moments with gore and children and people be abused horribly through the tower so not sure why the characters are all acting like kids

no more flashbacks
half the book was almost made up entirely of flashbacks, sometimes of characters who had no part in the story related to them, also they were used multiple times as a plot device to give the main character what he needed in certain points in the story. I liked it, but no more flashbacks
