Be a facilitator, not a dictator

Contrary to what every "self-made" millionaire may tell you, success is not a solitary achievement. It is a coordinated effort that takes a dedicated group of people who are consistently motivated and are on the same page. Still, it can be quite difficult to build an efficient team in which everyone pulls their own weight and doesn't drag the rest of the team down, and gives their A-game every day, but you can't just crack a whip to put everyone inline. And dangling a stack of hundreds on a stick isn't enough. To build an efficient team, you need to establish trust between crew members, nurture an individual's confidence in themselves and make them feel like their contributions are valid, and micromanage as little as possible. "Top Teamwork" is an excellent resource for every leader that needs to boost team productivity, limit drama, and wants to finally take their hands off the wheel without fear that their business will crash.

Every Team Leader Needs This

This is an excellent handbook on how to build and manage a team for performance. So often a leader is appointed based on their technical skills at the job rather than their ability to lead team members. The author comprehensively explains how to overcome this issue by outlining simple steps anybody can follow. People are emotional creatures and need more than just a paycheck to motivate them. As such, this book addresses the emotional intelligence needed to bring out the best in people. An excellent read!

Amazing Information!

Having a team myself, I’m so thankful to have read this book! Without fluff and filler, this book has useful information for ideas to motivate and increase productivity within a team. I wish some of the past companies that I’ve worked for could read more books like this! Some companies are just stuck in archaic ways of working. Leading is so different than managing. I appreciate that this book focuses a great deal on leadership and how powerful it is in the team setting. Highly recommending this book!

Teamwork Increases Performance

At the workplace, all members should work together and towards a common goal. This is only possible if someone holds the team together and leads them in the right direction. If all members work for the same thing they will be more productive and motivated to reach the companies goals. That's why I think teamwork is essential for every organization and why this book is a must read!

Useful, Well-Informed, Effective

Was recently promoted to a managerial position at my organization without any past management experience on my resume. I found this audiobook and figured I would give it a shot to learn what I could, and hopefully gain some insight into performing my current role. Top Teamwork has proven to be an invaluable resource towards learning how to effectively manage, and build a team to oversee.

The author is incredibly well informed on the subject, and the narrator is easy to understand without droning on. Thus far I have applied the majority of the recommendations found in this book to my current role, and it has helped me invariably. For anyone looking to increase their management skill-set, or build their skills from the ground up, I would absolutely recommend this title!

This isn’t for just leaders

This book comes with a free PDF which I was so thankful for. I love the ability to switch between boat. Having said that though let me just say this book is great at giving you a good perspective on being a team member or the leader of a team. This isn’t just for leaders and it isn’t just for those who have to listen to leaders it’s for everyone wanting to do well when a part of a team it is easy advice and most advice you think oh yes why did Nite think of that, But most of us don’t think of common sense things and that is why these advice books come in anti-. I have learned so much from advice books and this one is a great one. It has quotes from famous people but isn’t ball down an opinion or silly scenarios that really don’t happen in the workplace. I truly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good advice on how to lead and how to be a good team member of a great leader. Everyone’s role is important when on a team and if everyone does the best and the team will be the best and we all know those and I’ve chosen field that strive to do better in those that just want to get the job done and go home and this book tells a difference between the two and again I highly recommend it.

I thought this audiobook was really interesting to listen to. It covered many aspects such as what leadership is, tips on what you should NOT be doing as part of a team, and ways to implement good leadership in the workplace to help ensure your team are working as efficiently as possible. Helpful and Practical!

I have always worked in a team and the information in this book describes how best to work well in a team. It gives insight into the secret weapon to establish trust in a team and no one can achieve on their own really. The book gives details of what works well in a team and what does not work, people want to feel valued and so new leaders must come up with what works and the book has valuable insight so that anyone can step boldly into their role as a team leader.
Great leadership is not about position but about who you are, staying true to who you are is what helps others.
Leaders knows the way, goes the way and help others know the way.
